Remarks

I applied for most prestigious colleges in Mumbai. I luckily got into Wilson college where the admission process was so smooth. The cut off is usually close above 90%. I come under OBC category for admission. So it was easier for me to get into Wilson college. the reason I applied to Wilson college is because of its very renowned college in Bombay with great teaching faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course which I chose is bachelor of mass media. I want to go in journalism field and work with good news channels. The faculty in Wilson college is highly trained and professional. The teachers conduct various extra curricular activities with students.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Wilson college has tied up with various media organisations and newspapers to cater large amount of students. Sone internships here we get are unpaid but they are worth your time because you get experience of that particular field. They work on various social causes.

Placement Experience

5

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Fees and Financial Aid

I fee of Wilson college is very affordable for an Indian student considering it as a prestigious college in Bombay. I paid around 20000 rupees. The minority category here gets scholarship benefits. The scholarship applies to OBC SC ST category.

Campus Life

4

As I mentioned Wilson college is the most reputed college in Bombay. We conducted Indias first BMM fest which is known as polaris. Its so wonderful fest with lot of activities and life learnings. The fest is conducted around july month. The library here is very neat and clean. They have spacious classrooms with proper ventilation. They have sports activities such as boxing gymnastics hockey football. They also engage with various NGOs which work across india.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course. It helped me in my personality building and also I learned new things like- Video and photo editing, handling cameras, communication skills, Acting, Advertisement writing and shooting, and many more. Class strength is good as they allow 25-30 students for one course. Faculties were too supportive and masters of their own fields. They take 2 internals and 1 final exam at the end of the semester which is of 6 months.
