Remarks

I am a graduate student in Dr Gour Mohan Roy College.Due to lock down I couldn't attend my classes. So I used to go through from my home. There is no quota available in my course.Through the admission I want to get an Honours degree. The admission is based on the previous degree that I have got in my higher secondary level. The qualifying mark is fifty percentage mark from previous academic level. In honours criteria they search for the students who have got 60%.The students must be below 22 years. On the councelling day the students have to provide their original academic documents of their previous level. The students ,who have more qualification by their percentage got chance first.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have preferred the course because I want to much more in this subject. There are lots of students who want to get their admission and the ratio of students' are very good.In this faculty the students need first class 60% result .In our college on this subject teaching method is A graded. The term exams that they provide are divided into four semester. The students have to pass all these semesters if they want to get their degree.

Placement Experience

As per as I know, the company campus faculty for the engineer students. I don't know about this from my knowledge as I am a literature student. After getting the degree I have planned to construct my future plan of become a WBCS aspirant.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of our college is divided into two category. Some students get full free study materials with full free admission. And mostly they charged a minium of 12000/- rupees in charge.Their is no availability of getting stipend but they manage to get service of their students at last.

Campus Life

In our college ,they celebrate just one annul fest named as 'Social Meeting'.They have made a huge library for the students.A college journal named as 'Wish' for the students also .On the day of 'Social Meeting' all kinds of sports are organised for the students and teachers .There is no group ,clubs or website for students as for some terms and conditions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
