Remarks

I chose this university because I did not get any seat in government Engineering college in West Bengal as my rank in JEE main exam was not so good. I got a seat in B.tech Computer Science and Engineering in this university through the marks of JEE main exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I want to be a software engineer so I chose this course. Besides I also had a genuine interest in Computer Science . The course curriculum is made in a such a way that it helped me to familalize with with techniques in multivariate analysis, linear algebra and some useful special functions. The course curriculum also intriduces vector calculus and its applications, in both differential and integral forms. I got the opportunity to learn Object Oriented Programming with C++, Operating Systems , Programming with Python , Database Management Systems . Faculty members are highly qualified and always helped me to improve my skills and practical knowledge to get a good placement.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of my university is excellent and for this reason my university is desingnated by my publications as Engineering colleges with best Placements in India. Almost 80% of my batchmates took the placement offer in different companies like- Infosys, TCS, Chegg, Bill Desk, ATCs, Accenture etc. The highest salary package offered is 12LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in my university is near about 6lakhs 60 thousands. I paid near about Rs.115500 per year as tuition fees and Rs.49500 as others fees. This fees structure is quite expensive. But my university helped us with the scholarship schemes and scholarships are mainly provided on the basis of semester exam marks and attendance in class. I got 20% scholarship on tuition fees in 1 st year because I got above 7 CGPA and I had 75% attendance in the whole year.

Campus Life

4

I got a wonderful campus life and I enjoyed a lot living away from the home. The infrustructre of my university is very good. The university provides air conditioned and comfortable classrooms as well as living rooms, free wifi facility throughout the campus, Laboratories and library with lots of books, well maintained cafeteria,Sports offered are Football, Basketball, Volleyball, American football (tackle & flag), Cricket, Badminton, Table tennis, kabaddi, chess etc. Further, University also has well equipped gymnasium. I have participated in JU Rhythm which is held every year (National Level fest ).Besides E-cell (for placements) Jarurat (free education to privileged kids) Dance clubs are also there.

Placement Experience:

The final year UG students become eligible for campus placements if they have no backlogs and have maintained a proportionate % of attendance with significantly good academic scores. Companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, Teleperfomance, etc, do visit frequently and I'm sure a good amount of students are offered placements at these companies. My plan after my degree is to pursue Masters in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well to do very futuristic. I personally chose it because I believe i can do well in this even just after my bachelor's. The first year has 4 subjects dominantly but from 2nd year onwards it becomes a hassle as the life becomes very scheduled from lectures and classes and labs. The subjects teach you about everything and can be very working in the future. The exams are held in 3 phases that it 3 internals and 1 University exam . The internals are held every 3 months and have the exact same pattern as the university exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum aptly covers all aspects of the subject that a professional should know. It prepares a person for real world too as there is equal amount of importance given to learning of theory as well as understanding the practical implications of what have been learned. A scholastic year is divided into two semesters. One semester includes coverage of 2 syllabus units after which the CA (continuous assessment) takes place. After the CA the rest 3 syllabus units are covered and then the Semester End Examinations take place. After the SEE, there is a break of around one month followed by another semester. In all, one Semester covers 5 units and overall the curriculum covers 10 units in one scholastic year in every paper code. This system allows to efficiently understand and learn about the required material without putting too much pressure at once.
