Remarks

Admission in the under graduate course will be based on the marks secured in class 12. There is no entrance examination for b.com program students. The admissions in Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for women are based on their cutoff. The application form will be available on the Delhi University portal .And to fill the application some of the important documents should be needed like marksheet of 10 and 12 , Character Certificate, Migrant Certificate etc .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose bcom prog course because it has wide range of scope . It provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge . Faculty- The teachers are well qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable. Since it is online now, They conduct regular classes and tut class also to clearify the students doubts. They also provide proper notes. In online mode , we do not feel bored while studying. They use different study material ( ppt , slides , pdf ) to clear the doubts. .Overall teaching method is good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9685 per year

Internships Opportunities

College has started various internship opportunities to the students Thera are many different companies who provide different internship Our college are also linked with internshala and provide different internship and job offer .

Placement Experience

The college has placement cell Around 60-70% students are placed from our college. Companies that visit our college are Amazon , Myntra, Tata and many more. The average package offered by our college is 2-3 Lacs. College also provides Internship opportunities through social media platform like instagram , whatsapp group etc . But I am not dependent on college placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the college is not too much high. The fee structure of the college is depend on the courses available in the college. Scholarship-Information regarding scholarship is put on the notice board of college website. As I am a first-year student, I am not much aware of the scholarships or The Jobs offered in the college.

Campus Life

Due to pandemic, I did not get chance to visit my college but what I have heard from my friends.As college has huge library area and books are available for different courses. You can easily issue book from library. The college amenities are good. The college campus is huge large and beautiful . The campus crowd is good. College generally conduct various competitions and cash prizes were given to the winners.There are various societies like Navrang , Thirikan , Artistic Society , NSS , NCC etc . Fest and various competitions are organised. Since it is online . I haven't taken part in any sports activities.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Remarks:

The infrastructure is a bit old. It needs to be renovated for the students to study in a peaceful and happy atmosphere. Overall the college is good and is rated B by NAAC. There should also be cameras for each class to keep a check on the students.

A broad view on campus life

I have applied for this college because it comes under DU and it shows a great impact on our resume on the time of job offer. The prices of the course is affordable too.
