Remarks

"My university has a very strong school of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country. It also offered the specialization I was seeking, and I wanted to fast track my education.""I chose to go to a large university because I wanted to maximize my post-college opportunities while still in school. We have a vast alumni network, and this helped me land a great summer internship."

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Teaching faculties are too friendly. We can discuss anything with the faculties without any pressure and they are always ready to help us with our syllabus. I am a law student and my teachers helps us alot in getting updated with the latest judgements and moot competitions.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

The course curriculum is decided by the BCA panel. It does not have very interesting subjects, and there are nine subjects in each semester. They also made journals from students, and there are many illogical assignments. The college is like a second school. Teachers are very strict, and they are not much friendly. Teachers are not well-behaved and don't take their job seriously.

Placement Experience

2.5

IGNOU has a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) which was established in the year 2005 at its headquarter. The CPC works on the premise that the right candidate meets the right recruiter at the right place. It acts as an interface between the industry and the students/alumni. The CPC conducts various campus placement drives, job fairs and employability enhancement activities throughout the year at its headquarters, regional centres, study centres and company premises. In addition, CPC is planning to expand its activity base further by introducing new initiatives like preparing soft skill modules for the students. This activity would enable CPC in providing better placement opportunities to the students/alumni and thus, enable better functioning of CPC.

College Events

A Technical course like Btech required lots of practical sessions and for that you need to join regular college. In IGNOU you wont get that much of class or study support.Join IGNOU when you are already employed or having obstacle like financial problem, time problem etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure of IGNOU is 6000 per semester , but there is no scholarship in ignou, they will not provide placement n all! Iand even though the schedule is quite packed in the first year, there is a lot of learning from each subject. The curriculum even includes regular guest lectures from eminent personalities.

Hostel Facilities

2

it is a open university they dont provide hostel facilities and all, regarding that i will prefer you go to regular university. if u can Join MCA after BCA than u can go with IGNOU for BCA otherwise just go with B.tech and focus on mathematics and computers in depth.

Admission

i don't think that you should take anyone's review about any course. Because it's your own field of interest. But as per my suggestion, IGNOU is a very good university for those who are not able to go for regular classes.

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates. There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement. The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum. As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

The curriculum preparation to us for real world application. I suggest that the teacher are much good but please increase number of teachers in college. Teaching methods are good. Frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on difficulty level is Decent because we get less time to prepare for the exams.
