Scet- an aspired college

The college is really good and has spread it's feathers throughout the 25 years but yet it hasn't yet make that remark. Which is questionable and we should think about it.As far as I have observed it has great opportunities and can provide great chances to students anytime.

Course curriculum is very old and out dated as it is a gtu affiliated college . The course curriculum is mostly theory based and less concentrated on practical . Exam structure is totally theory based .

Placements and job opportunities are not so good. They can be improved very nuch as this is one of the oldest college of surat. No internship are provided if we want them then we have to work very hard.

Many events are celebrated in the college throughout the year.1. Navratri celebration2. Techfest3. Exuberance4. Verve5. HackathonThis kind of many technical and non technical events are celebrated throughout the year.

Fee structure is high and not feasible from my point of view. As the facilities provided in the college are very less and as fees per annum is 1,18,000 hence they should provide more facility so that students can feel more comfort.

There are many different good scholarship plans available and provided by gujarat state government and national goverment for the betterment of students . Scholarships such as MYSY (Mukhyamantri yuva swawlamban yojana)And NSP(national scholarship portal ) are one of the best scholarships available.

Extracurricular activities are good and are conducted throughout the year. Labs are good and well . Sports facilities are not as good as they should be. There is no separate sports ground for scet college which shows how sports is in this college

I got admission in this college through acpc (an entrance exam for taking admission in engineering courses in the colleges of gujarat) . There are many rounds to take admission in the colleges I took admission in offline round.

Faculty is good and supportive for the students if they wants to study. Faculties are highly graduated and having high amount of knowledge . As I am a computer department student faculties of my department are very supportive.
