Our college offers fisheries engineering

Very nice, I am happy in being a part of student in that campus. Management is very nice. And we are direct control under the university as we are in university campus. Our motto is to provide engineering aspects to fisheries area and to develop the nation.

4 year program, first 3 years should be in college and studying is going on 4th year has project session for 3 months and ALL INDIA TOUR for 1 month and implants training for 1 month and ravae program for 1 month. When coming to exam part, one internal and one semester exam is there for per semester. Internal exam has 20 marks and semester exam has 80 marks and practical exam has 50 marks, Toatal of 150 marks the required marks will get the cgp. The exam time duration is 2 hrs. Fish processing department provides knowledge in processing of fish, packaging and all operations involved in fish, thus this is useful in get the job in food processing industry. Aquaculture department provides knowledge abt the culture practice of animal and water quality parameters and etc. This is useful in working in aquaculture pond and able to become an entrepreneur. Along with mechanical, civil, electrical, maths, computer courses is being adopted in our courses.

Our seniors had placed in several companies with income around 30k. Several feed processing companies, food processing companies, aquaculture pond, hatcheries opens for us for our service. Avanthi feeds is the major company reputed our students. Our college has the placement committee along with few faculties involved in the placement process. Average percentage of placed students is 7. 0 cgp. They have to involve in various stages like a ordinary placement. First stage of written exam. Second stage of speaking skills. Third stage of personality development ans so on.

Our college has separate association named as students association with general secretary, junior secretary and several clubs secretary namely Science club Literary club Fine arts club Blood donation club Eco club Games club Hostel club Editor's club Photograph club Each club have their separate programs such as college day, hostel day, sports day, food day, science day, engineers day, fisheries day, batch day, freshers day, farewell day, pongal day, diwali day, Christmas day, And inter college function as COFEISTA.

Our fee for per semester is 10 k for first 6 semester. And for last 2 semester is 6k. But, for last semester extra amt want to pay for All India Tour abt 20k and food expenses is ours. And for implants and ravae program food expenses is ours. For project, university will give 5k remaining is ours. Then no lab fees and extra fees.

Yes, we have a government scholarship provided by government and for taht necessary steps had taken by college itself. College offering fisheries scholarship for fisheries background people. Several scholarship are available in our college.

Gender ratio is 50:50. And students are pursuing in several games as they are taken out for other colleges often for sports and intra college sports meet is done on our college. We have several government approval labs for each Department and workshops. There is no political abuse in our campus. And there is no ragging in our college. Our college is certified as ragging free campus by our university. Several projects are done in our labs, and our labs are very well furnished with high equipments. We are providing with the high level of practical knowledge. Tamilnadu fisheries library is situated in our college. Tamilnadu state referral laboratory and water quality laboratory is situated in our campus. We have renewable resources as a wind park and solar park in our campus. Several icar projects are going on.

Yes, Hostel facilities is very nice. And mess is students mess. Hostel has one chief warden and one deputy warden and one hostel secretary and one mess secretary and hostel and mess reps for each batchs. Rooms allocated for 3 students per room with onebed, one cub board, onr table chair for every person's. And each room has separate bathrooms for 3 pesond. And food is nice and fee is around 2. 5 k per month.

Through proper counseling conducted by our university TNJFU. For admission, first want to fill the application form given in our university website, and after accepting your application they will provide you a mail, after receiving that the rank list has given in our website according to our score and finally counseling is done. dates of each program is mentioned in that form after getting the seat within 5 days want to put admission in respected college. Our fee abt 10k for per semester. I liked this courses bcz this course make the fisheries community to develop and promote engineering aspects.

Our college has soo lectures in the ratio of 4:1 i. e per staff for 4 students. They are more friendly with students with helping tendency. All faculty members are phd scholars in the same university So, they are well versed in their job. Apart from the teaching, our faculty members involved in various projects provided by state government, central government and several government agencies and fisheries ministry and they are funded with huge amt of fund. Along with this they involved in research activities and running the separate government laboratory for each department Average age is above 40and qualification is phd. They mostly helped the students with practical knowledge. They often provide us a field visit twice a week for practical knowledge. More helpful in exam point of view.
