The best part is in-spite of being such tough course we have a very chilled out culture. We never miss out on fun. It would be 2 best years of one life. The only bad thing thing I can think of is its highly military styled run college were a lot of emphasis is given on discipline, timings, grooming etc. But we fauji kids are use to it.

I took SNAP in 2012 and scored 84.5 out of 180. I choose to opt for this college because it provides general management course whereas other colleges that I got selected for were providing management in a particular stream only. And also the fees was very low 4.15 lacs in 2012. Lastly the placements of previous years were fantastic.

It is very good. The first semester is common and you are introduced to a lot of subjects, 17 to be precise and the semester is the most busiest and hectic one where even 24 hrs seems less to study. Then in 2nd semester one can opt for marketing, operations, Finance and HR according to ones likes. I opted for marketing and we had 13 subjects in 2nd semester and in 3 semester only 5 subjects and most of the time we were busy for placements. By the 3rd semester 80% of placements gets complete. In the final semester we only have 4 subjects.

Yes, Infact big companies like Wipro, Tata, Infocys, ICICI, HDFC, Delloite, FMCGs, Telcoms even provide PPOs preplacement offers. Genrally 10% gets PPOs right after their completion of internship. And the stipend varies between 10K to 50K.

The placements are excellent. Infact the best part. We have a batch of 300. and everyone got placed during my time in college and the average CTC offered was 8 lacs. All the big names one can think comes down to our campus. Infocys (selects 100 students, 8 lacs ctc), HSBC (12 lacs ctc) ICICI (7 lacs), Tally (12 lacs) Mother Dairy (8 lacs), Wipro (8.5 lacs), Crisil (6 lacs), HDFC (5 lacs), Delloite (8.5 lacs), TCS (12 lacs) SBI, Magma, Tata communications, Taj Hotels, Vodafone, Advertising firms etc. The placements are always between 90%-100%.

For every concern department one event is organised every year. The participation comes from every big college of India. IIMs, XLRI, FMS, MDI etc. The prize amount varies from 5000 to 50000. Yes 50000. there is one enterprenuer event which is designed by the industrialist experts and very imminent industry hotshots come down as panel member. Apart from this we have our own band, which has represented the college at various fests and also on TV as well. Then we have our sports club. Every year we win big prizes in the university sports meet. We are regular winners over there.

The fees is very low in comparison to the general average fees of MBA in India. In 2012 it was 4.15 lacs that too including mess and hostel charges. And yes you can have free to Gym and Swimming pool all around the year. We also have guest house available if your relatives want to come down to college.

Yes there are scholarships provided by college. One is for the war disabled defense dependents. Rs 30000/- every year. And there are few other scholarship offered by companies who comes down to college with a contest. Amount is of Rs 50000/- . During my time no loan facility were there but I don't know if there is any currently.

Of all the symbiosis college our is the most happening college! Its not an exaggeration but a fact, which everyone knows in Symbiosis. The most happening. Actually all the students comes from defense background so we people have amazing zeal for life. So that might be the reason we are so chilled out. There are so many bars and restraunts in the nearbuy vicinity of 3 kms. Apart from this we have Pranay that our department that works with NGO. We have drama club as well. I was part of it. And we are regulars to Mood Indigo programs.

The hostel are very good but on sharing basis. 3 people share one single room and near about 150+ rooms in hostel. The girls hostel are separate. Just in front of the hostel we have gardens and benches where one can enjoy the warm sun in the winter, slurping maggi in the evening and gossiping about everything in the world. Coming to mess, top standard and strict timing just like the military type. The whole menu for the week will be mailed to you in advance and none of the dish gets repeated in a week. And both veg and non veg food are available. On the festival day the menu will have interesting dishes. And we celebrate festivals of every religion.

We have a vast alumni network. Some are CEO/COO/ CFO of comapnies. And nearly 10% of every batch becomes enterprenuer, a general trend observed. The crowd age group varies from 21 yrs to 45 yrs, its that diverse. It presents a big opportunity to learn from them.

Yes the exams are held regularly sometimes one may have to appear for 3 exams in a day. Its always a hectic day. But in 3 and 4 semester the exams are less and its a pretty chilled out time. Surprise tests are often conducted. 1st and 2nd semester always very hectic.

The notification came in October and I filled the form online. 15 days before exam I received the ID card for written examination and appeared for it on 30 Nov. After clearing the written, I got letter for GD/PI, which were conducted at the college campus itself. At the day of GD/PI, first we were called in the auditorium and seniors and few faculties introduced themselves and detailed about the kind of courses and various cells like marketing, HR, Entrepreneurship etc. Then we were took on the campus tour and familiarized us with academic block, canteen, Gym, swimming pool, guest house, hostel etc. Then came turn for GD, after this 2 PIs were conducted. And we were given refreshment and thats how it culminated. After 3 months the results were announced. I also got a call and mail from them about my selection and I were told to deposit the first installment in 3 days and to give your joining within the first week of June.

The faculties are excellent. Almost all the faculties have more than 10 yrs of experience and some of them also has rich industry experience. The visiting faculties are something to look out for. The come all the way from IIMs, top B-schools. We also have guest lectures where they call imminent people from all walks of life. Ratan Tata, Field Marshal Maneksahw, Rahul Bose, Entrepreneurs, Manish Tiwari, Spokes person of Congress, and the list goes on.
