Remarks

The college facility is just amazing and it's among the best girls colleges in Kanpur. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Admission criteria are not too tough it very normal any girl can take admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

For the preparation of competitive exams, I choose this course. Approx 70 to 80 students are there in class. Teachers methods are very nice easily understandable. Exams are not to tough. From among two papers, one is subjective and other is objective.

Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite affordable approx 2500 to 3000 yearly is taken for graduation and it can be increased or decreased depending upon the practical subject. Scholarship forms can be filled by those whose family is financially unstable.

Campus Life

Annual sports program held every year. An old library with many good books are present here including sports day, many cultural programs like Nukkad Natak, dance etc are performed by students. A club is also present which helps the people.

College review of AMPG BHU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was always inclined towards economics as a subject as well as real life application of it. The specific aspects of curriculum which influenced my decision of choosing this course were the integrated syllabus and practical knowledge being imparted in this. It helps me to analyse data and understand real world problem from a broader horizon which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Even though there isnt any improvement needed since the faculty itself is extremely focused as to impart the best of their knowledge to us and is very well trained and supportive. The frequency of the exams is twice a year(2 set of semester exams and 2 sets of sessional exams within each year) timing of the exam is 2.5 hour for semester exam of each subject and 1 hour for sessional which are of 70 marks and 30 marks respectively. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate, if a student attends regular classes they would easily qualify the exams with a good grade and CGPA.

I was an arts student so definitely i would choose to do BA course and up college is the best known college according to me and also it is near my home. I had choose thus curriculum as i love to study BA subjects like political science it takes me to understand the reality of todays political system. Teachings are very good i must say teachers go through every topic and explain it very well. Timing of exams are 2 hour and i think it is enough .

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well.
