Also depends on the rank in the merit list. So for the first two year all the thouree papers in the combination are in curriculum but in third year one needs to study only the hons. Paper. On-campus placement opportunities are limited so there's no specification towards industry specific knowledge, however the college plays an important role in shaping the elaborative part of the papers, thereby making sound impression for students to be considered for further studies.

Placement Experience

2

B.Sc. course in particular doesn't have any internship opportunities as that's not the part of curriculum. The college has no specific grounds for placement either.

College Events

4.5

There are a number of events held: Manthan: Annual fest of college Kashiyatra: Annual fest of University Grand Janmashtmi celebration Grand Saraswati puja celebration: There are a number of hostels within the campus and all of them organize puja at their best. Theirs a sort of lioness to witness that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very nominal if you get admission on regular seat. There are two categories of admission: Regular seat and Paid seat. Regular Seat has very minimal fees - around 25000 for entire course. Paid seat however has an expense of 1.5 lakh for entire course. The mode of payment is via demand draft. College is completely transparent in giving the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no scholarship opportunities as such. The college doesn't actually provide any kind of scholarship. However research fellowship is available for those willing to go for P.hd.

Campus life is so serene. Once been there you'll crave for being there again and again. Cultural societies are there for different colleges under the universities. Student diversity is a mix of students from around the globe. Gender diversity is 50:50.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are quite good. Rooms are 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater and even single seater. Allocation of rooms are done based on merit list. Mess facility is also good. Room charge is based on the hostel that's assigned. It varies but it's negligible.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni connect hasn't much to do with the college but seniors are great. They are extremely helpful in all sorts of activities be it academic or personal.

There are around 3 lectures a day one hour each. In second half there are practical classes for related papers. There are different sets of faculties for each department. I was in chemistry department and there were 8-9 professors in Chemistry department. Each of them were dedicated to one particular part of Chemistry. Faculty members are of average age in between 30-35 with P.hd. as their qualification. Botany and zoology hons. Students go for excursion to collect samples for lab from biodiversity rich parts of India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i have always shown interest in psychology and this was a force which pulled me here to study psychology. i would suggest some aspects of improvement like more real life study instead of just learning stuffs from the book. real life experinces and situations makes a student to connect and understand those topic more clearly. practical subject examination are of about 50 marks 2 papers and non practical subject of 70 marks 2 set of paoer each. i have also given an internal examination of around 25 marks for pract and 30 for non pract 1hr exam. sem exam of 2 hr each paper

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was always inclined towards economics as a subject as well as real life application of it. The specific aspects of curriculum which influenced my decision of choosing this course were the integrated syllabus and practical knowledge being imparted in this. It helps me to analyse data and understand real world problem from a broader horizon which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Even though there isnt any improvement needed since the faculty itself is extremely focused as to impart the best of their knowledge to us and is very well trained and supportive. The frequency of the exams is twice a year(2 set of semester exams and 2 sets of sessional exams within each year) timing of the exam is 2.5 hour for semester exam of each subject and 1 hour for sessional which are of 70 marks and 30 marks respectively. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate, if a student attends regular classes they would easily qualify the exams with a good grade and CGPA.
