Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Was passionate about this profession in high school.Dropped for an year for entrance preparation and got selection in this college via COMEDK (based on neet score). Number of students in a batch is 150.Theory classes are divided among teachers . Clinical classes is by divided units of 20-30 students.Clinical postings is for a month for the major subjects. All the faculty have MBBS,MD qualification. some faculty in preclinical subjects have MSc degree in that subject. Teaching is by ppt presentations for theory, the laboratory is well established, clinical classes are more interactive. The number of clinical cases are limited since it is a new college. Examination-3 internal assessments and conducted in theory Practical- 3 exams Clinicals-3 end postings. University exams is yearly and is conducted on Dec for years except 1st year. Rguhs is a toughest university to pass and requires good reading

Internships Opportunities

3.5

One year internship is compulsory after a 4.5-year course. Adequate exposure to various cases. It's the time where the students learn the clinical practice. A monthly stipend is given by the college. Graduates after the final year exams will be posted in various departments. All the major postings take one month including community medicine. Other departments take half month internship. It is where students learn more about applying clinical knowledge in real life. The vast experience of various clinicians will be helpful.

Placement Experience

3.5

MBBS degree is worthy for a job just after completion. There is nothing as campus placement. Graduates can apply as a junior residents in the hospital. Pg entrance preparation can be done for post-graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is according to govt-issued fee guidelines for CET students (yearly). The fee structure is issued by COMEDK and will be reviewed yearly. The fee for the 2016th batch is 575000 and there is a hike every year. Management seats demand a fee of around 1cr for the complete course. The cost to study MBBS is of course high compared to other courses unless in govt colleges. All the central and state scholarships are provided. MBBS graduate degree is achieved. It can provide junior resident posts.Pg education can be started after this.

Campus Life

3.5

Every year cultural feats are conducted. Intercollege fest is also conducted among the various bgs institutions across the country. Sports meet is also conducted yearly. Social life is fun and interesting but with a study load. The library is one of the largest in the state with all the major medical books, journals, and e-books. Ppt presentations in the classroom is done. WiFi is available in the college. There are study clubs in the college and no fun activity clubs. There are several students group for clinical discussion and seminars.

Hostel Facilities

3

Room for two and is well spacious. Single rooms also available (an extra amount of 20000). One metal cot, wardrobe, table, and chair provided. the mattress is not provided (size requirement 4 6). Food- mess hall located on the lower ground floor. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner provided. The food provided is below average. Veg menu except for nonveg dinner on Tuesday and Friday.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. The university exams are held in end of the year and we don't have semesters the course is perfect as in wise it's just would ve been better if we would get more time after the syllabus is over to our final exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year we have a set of three internal assessments which assess our knowledge about the specific topics being taught and how caught up are we with the subject. The third internal mimics the final university exam pattern. This form of assessment is quite efficient and beneficial because it helps us to study on a regular basis because we need to pass two out of the three internals to gain eligibility for our final university examination. Apart from the internals we also have formative assessments after every unit of a chapter which is very beneficiary because it helps to keep topics memorised for longer durations. The difficulty of the internal examination ranges from easy to moderate, there are very rare cases of the exam to be extremely difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.
