Course Curriculum Overview

5

Overall the course is good and the curriculum accomodates the student goals and competency mentioned by the board , the teachers try to make the class non monotonous and engaging, teachers also encourage us to stop when the lecture is not comprendable

Internships Opportunities

4

We do our internship in the fifth year after clearing the university exams of final year , we are posted in each department for a specific amount of time to get a hands on experience of the subject, with good stipend

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1756000 yearly which includes the tuition fee and other institutional infrastructure fee, but the fees for writing university examination is taken separately each year at the beginning of the course it's 6000 approx

Campus Life

4

Social experience has been great here the college is very welcoming to all cultures and religions and has various clubs to increase our engagement like suturing club and others, excellent infrastructure provided for learning and patient management

Admission

I chose this as the college is in my hometown, to stay closer to parents and cooked home meals and other colleges don't have the infrastructure that this college has and the inflow of the patients is very good which accelerates our learning and patient management

Faculty

4

Faculty is very approachable and have great knowledge of their subject, the exam week is very stressful as we have no sufficient preparatory holidays and marking scheme depends on the teachers but overall it's what students deserve

Night Life

4

I'm a localite so don't really stay back to comment about the night life , but I do use the library services till 8 and the library environment is quiet and peaceful with literally a ton of books to drive our learning skills

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

MBBS is a big part of my life , best course to take if you love reading and love science. Teaching methods in our college involves patient interaction and stuff giving us more practical knowledge. The internals take place once in 3 months followed by minimum of a month study holiday for the finals. The internals are fairly easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.

Placement Experience:

Since it is a medical college. There are not many direct placements. We secure a good result and our next exam score decides the college we get placed or the pg course we shall be pursuing. My plans after getting this degree would be to pursue a course in general surgery.
