Remarks

The legacy of the college with 202 years of excellence and one among colleges where there is MSc biotechnology course and is famous for many more reason like a heritage campus with a virgin forest in it

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course and Curriculum is okay.We were provided an internship at Rubber Research Institute.Teachers are quite friendly but the lab facility is not upto the mark for the fact that we are paying this much fee

Placement Experience

3.5

TCS some banks and other institutions might be coming to recruit but mostly it is for IT field and banks

College Events

4

The Arts day and other celebrations are quite interesting with many celebrities coming and there will be many promotion events by filmmakers and the Onam and Christmas celebration are really grand. Various fests are also conducted by different departments

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship from College based on my merit and I get a refund of 5000 every semester after paying the fee amount

Campus Life

Excellent exposure for sports and Arts and library is okay but can be improved. Labs in other departments are quite big but mine is small and not that advanced But it has all the instruments required for doing practicals

Hostel Facilities

College hostel is neat and clean with 3 to 4 people in a large room PG hostel has a maximum of 120 ppl capacity. And we have to pay a monthly mess or food cost only it ranges from 3500 to 4000 The number of seats are limited and have to take admission right at the time of joining college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.
