Remarks

Faculties are very helpful. I opted English department as my subject because I have interest in literature and history. And the department is also very good here. Teachers are very frank to students.

The course syllabus was very updated. Yes we were provided enough industrial exposure. There were so many good faculties. Specially Merry ma'am.

Campus Life

Yes sports facilities are present, size of the library is so huge. Don't know about labs. Coz I'm from English department.

I was in PG.the fee was more than expected, it's 5500.

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. Improvement in Sports activities needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

Learning about different forms and genres of literature was what peaked my interest to choose this course. The works of various influential literature writers that are included in the curriculum are relevant but could be a bit overwhelming at first. The length of the curriculum sometimes put the professors in pressure to complete their assigned syllabus and skip a bit. And some who don't skip, are unable to complete their sullabus. The curriculum may be improved by reducing the some of the contents.

True aspects on a University

I choosed the college after my 12 th as I didn't want to lose this year at home studying online for any entrance. But fir sure I will be giving entrance fir other better college .
