Good College

Management is good in terms of taking decisions and maintaining the environment in college. There were instances of occasional fights between branches which were sorted every time. College can improve on placement activities,mess and hostel. Alumni is another aspect which can be improved.

I took EAMCET my rank was 4877 I opted for this college primarily for two reasons. College has a brand it has a chain of institutions. Apart from just that the college infrastructure was really good had a good ambiance away from residential complexes and industries. College maintains a reputed faculty capable to grooming resources to face the fast growing competition. College was in vicinity of 10 km from my home.

Course curriculum was well organized. Management used to take good care of students. Courses used to be completed much before exam schedules and we used to have ample time to read and refer text books. Exams were also held regularly to track performance and suggest performance improvement areas.

Our course has no internship associated. However we have visited many industries organized by college during our tenure. College even encouraged students to take industrial training's during 2nd and 3rd year of engineering. I myself have done industrial training at BSNL and Vizag Steel Plant.

College has a good training and placement officer who managed to get more than 20 companies directly and indirectly. More than 80% of the students got placed by the time they reached their 4th year 2nd semester. We received packages between 3 to 5 lacs. College also gives guidance for preparing resumes and conducts mock interviews to guide resources for facing the final interviews from companies.

Every possible event will be celebrated at a grant level. During my tenure I have seen following events happening. College Annual Days they happen at a grant level every year and all students are encouraged to be part of various cultural committees. Technical Fests We saw technical fests happening every year at national level where paper, poster and project contests happen where more then 50 colleges participate. College gives importance to culture,traditions and nation. All days of national importance like republic day,independence day,cultural festivals are celebrated grandly.

Fee in my time was 26400 ruppes every year. Management used to give options to pay it yearly,halfyearly,quarterly. Management also used to give scholarships for merit students. In my first year our batch stood as state toppers and the first and second ranker from every branch was offered fee waiver for entire year from the director.

College offers good scholarships every year to merit students. We witnessed full fee waiver for class toppers in every branch. We also also college giving cash awards every year for students winning at nations levels in paper,poster and project presentations.

Labs have good infrastructure and are well maintained. We have a good cricket ground,volley ball court,badminton court,carom boards. We used to witness inter branch and intra branch tournament happening every year apart from the inter college competitions. We used to have a male to female gender ratio of 3:2. We have never seen any discrimination with respect to race,gender,caste etc.

Hostel was small and the facilities also used to be less. Mess can be rated average as there will be limited suppy of food. Even the taste can be rated as average. You definitely will have option of Noth indian,South Indian,Veg,Non Veg at Mess. There are private hostels and mess facilities within a 4km which many used to opt as they had good connectivity to outside world as well in case students opt to go for any training courses outside.

We do not see any alumni portal as such but we have groups maintained in social networking sites like google+, facebook where we interact regularly. We only had one alumni connect after passing out and we heard that another one is being planned next year. I currently know an have seen that the college students have showcased their talent and have got settled in various core,banking, IT,government services.

Labs happen every week and the faculty makes sure that the students fill the record by next session. Mock tests also happen before actual exams to ease students. Exams also happen in a structured manner with a good examination cell department and that makes sure all the communication happens timely. We have never seen an instance where we had to rush and run to various places during exams. Enough guidance from examination cell was always there to clear any doubts apprehensions and to explain any rules from the examination board.

We had a reputed faculty who were so good that many managed to move to IIT's and IASC for doing masters and research programs after some tenure at college. Faculty always cheered and encouraged students at every phase of the journey. They used to reward students to keep up the spirit for learning. Faculty always guided and encouraged students to participate in National level paper,poster and project presentations.
