Entrance Preview

I took part in Bcom hons exam and secured 64% in part one I love commerce and it will help in MBA so chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of curiculum is very good and the electives we're the principal and our Accounts teacher we had many electives as such so we are under strict supervision.

Internships Opportunities

HCL came for internship and the stipend for internship was quiet high and standard one out of good standard HCl offered great stipend for internship.

Placement Experience

One company came named HCL and they offered 1000000 per year so it was a good onethey offered training and many facilities at starting bt it was not good for us.

College Events

Every cultural event is celebrated in our college independence day,republic day,Gandhi jayanti etc they are very big and many girls participate in this including me.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very low 500 per month it is quiet cheap for middle class people and affordable for poor and needy people and so girls can study and I love the way they offer concessions to people who cannot pay money.

Loans are not available but good scholarship is available.

Campus Life

We get many competitions I participate there and enjoy a lot there specially debates and dance. The programs are mainly regional and to meet economic needs and society.

Hostel Facilities

The Pg and hostels are very gud for the students who are living alone and from other states avg rentals amount to 6000 per month.

No comments all the senior students are very well mannered I just love their behavior they are just good and no ragging and antisocial activities alumini organised a meeting and we all had nice session and interesting too.

We have many exams and tests so we are always prepared and three semesters are there they are quiet tough an obviously hectic day.

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

Getting admission was easy, I had to first make sure that I was able to fulfil the eligibility criteria of getting accepted in the college, once that was done, I had to fill the application form which is present in the college website.

Remarks:

The ground of our college is way too short. Rather not too short but not enough. The infrastructure is good. We have own individual departments for every stream or courses. The buildings are much big.

Admission:

I want a cafe fill-up the application form and returned home after fifteen days. My college revelt a marit list and I am successful in this marit list , a date was fixed by my college for successfully candidate to addition. I went that day and admitted in the college.

The admission process under Calcutta University is carried out via wb portal in which you can apply for all the interested colleges and you get alloted in any one of them as per your marks and other criteria .. Getting into Jalan was my 3rd prefered college other than this I had appeared for Cuet but I couldn't pursue my degree there because of my parents as they don't consider Delhi a safe option... Then I had options to go to private colleges under CU but pursuing bcom in any private colleges or government college doesn't really make any difference so I selected Jalan college ... BRIEFING ON SSJGC

The admission process was smooth and frustating at the same time. Everyone who passed their higher secondry in commerce field were eligible for admission. We need to personally collect admission form from college which cost around Rs 200 and these college have a period of atleast 3 month after higher secondry result declaration for admission. The admission fee was Rs10000 for this course and alter as we change to other courses. The reservation benefits were restricted only to fee concession as the reserved category paid less fee.No category wise admission were there. There was no such entrance exam required for this as admission were open after the admission window is closed....Read More
