- Experienced faculty .. the teaching system of the teachers shows that they have a good experience and they know the format as per the university level so helps the students in easy guidance
- Disciplined environment .... The strictness in maintaining the discipline is followed
- Good at cultural events and is active in inter college fests and functions
Dislikes
- They don't provide online classes and everything is done in physical classes
- Strict with attendance... They don't entertain taking offs even in emergencies
Course Curriculum Overview:
Seth Soorajmull Jalan Girls College has a good reputation under Calcutta University for Bcom hons ... The exams taken are moderately set... Which helps us to apply all the things we've learned at class and project works are also given for a few subjects.. Bcom being a theoretical course any skill or real life practice such as commercial industrial vist via college is not yet done .. introducing online lectures for theory subjects would be little more helpful

- Disliked the college prayer, timing Problem
- College Didn't have variety of food in canteen
- Too much strictness in college didn't allow phone to use
Course Curriculum Overview:
The university exam takes place twice a year . Internal exams are also being conducted twice a year by the professors and college. The paper is set by the professors and they are very strict towards the internal examination

- The teaching facility was excellent and really helpful
- Teaching and non teaching staff were polite and bear an excellent behavior
- Students were well mannered also they provide every practical facility required for the study
Dislikes
- Campus area was really small and canteen food was not healthy
- Having atleast 100 students in a class create a mess and student were not able to focus
- The infrastructure was really poor were with benches and fan aging to stone age
Course Curriculum Overview:
I personally decided to acquie this field as all my friend were doing the same but today I can say that BCom is not neccesary for higher studies in commerce stream.As the curriculum suggest we has accouts, cost account , tax, financial account , managment account and we need them in our daily basis so now we know what were are we doing in our day to day life. Subjects like tax and cost account is used by everyone. Their are definetely areas of improvement as I remember tnat we learnt all the previous tax system and book keeping which is of no use also the teaching method were old schooled which made us bore and some even felt asleep! Exams were held at the end of every semester and they were pretty easy as everyone scored more than 8 cgpa but I reckon the question paper level was n?t good enought to test the students knowledge.

- The fee structure is very low with respect to other colleges
- Professor are very highly qualified and Experienced
- There is several scholarships and schemes for the betterment of the students
Dislikes
- The college really doesn't have campus. The infrastructure is not very good
- The office system in the college goes very slow. It takes much time for some actions
- Although some professor are really but there are also some professor who are very harsh and rude towards students

- The course structure and the academics portion
- The well versed faculty who had amazing knowledge of the course
- It is the best place if you are not someone who is in to co curricular activities
Dislikes
- Absence of exposure of real world, in terms of personality development
- there were no social or co curricular activities encouraged by the college
- no campus placement, so after college it is your sole responsibility to find a career for yourself
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since the college was under the University of Calcutta it was quite a detailed course covering every aspect of the accounting and finance portion that would prepare me for the available job opportunities in the market in finance and accounting
The aspects however that needs to be worked upon is the upgradation of the course content by making it a little easier to understand and follow.
