Remarks

It's one of the top rated Colleges in Kottayam city which is my hometown and this College is situated in the heart of the city. Moreover it's an aided College where we can avail government scholarships and fee concessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was updated last year, that is in 2019 and it covers almost all theories and what makes the syllabus so special is that it solely will help aspirants to prepare for the NET exams(paper 2). The curriculum is well balanced and have good academics as it produces great results. The faculties are like our friends who are there for any help and very supportive.

Class Size: 19Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

The College conducts job fair every year and everyone tells that the placement percentage is low here but remember that qualified ones will surely get placed.

College Events

One can surely enjoy the campus life. The campus and each department conducts intercollegiate competition and tests including sports fest and football and cricket matches and the campus is full of extracurricular activities where no one gets bored. There's also annual cricket match between teachers and students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College provides education loan facilities and as the College is aided we can get sc, st, OBC, oec kinda scholarships and the College also provides annual scholarships for meritorious students. It includes medal, certificate, and cash award.

Campus Life

The campus is WiFi enabled. The campus also have good computer labs, science labs, electronic lab, sports gym, sports department, vast library and each department also have it's own Library. The equipments in the lab are well up to date.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

I applied in many colleges even in one of my favourite CMS college but I didn't get admission there. Moreover I got admission in St thomas College pala but I rejected it over baselius because of its department. The admission process in our college can be apply through their websites or even online portals based on the seats and availability. I took admission on merit based so as a highly challenging course among other courses it is difficult to get admission in bcom on merit basis.
