Remarks

My reason was very simple and that was my GATE marks matching this institute minimum eligibility criteria. Also I got various other options to choose but I only liked this college. My parents too visited the college and liked it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Whole M.tech which has 3 years under it was divided into 6 semesters by the management to lessen the sack of topics from the shoulders of the students. They used modern methods for teaching like robots etc.

Course Fees: INR 168000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements was included in the last year. But as I was in the college during it's new phase, options were very less and concentrated. Majority of the companies were from the state. Only one Wipro was a good option.

College Events

Extracurricular activities were too much to get celebrated in the college. Durga Puja was the most awaited festival in AK Choudhary School of Information Technology. Also we had Diwali celebration where we made rangoli in our classroom.

Campus Life

Robots was something I don't think alot of college is having as for this time period. These robots actually helped us alot. Teachers installed their chapters in their device and they read on the behalf of them

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was little far away from the actual building. They had separate blocks for boys and girls in the college. The warden was strict but not that much that it became unbearable. Also the food was okay.

Admission

Admission process was bit difficult as both entrance paper which was GATE as well as the interview was required for admission.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better. And it would have been better if we had studied Android app development a little better.
