Course Curriculum Overview

I find the course curriculum very interesting as I always wanted to study English literature.The course curriculum mainly includes literature works of Shakespeare and Keats.There are end semester examinations in which students have to secure minimum of 45% marks to pass.

Placement Experience

The college does provide lot of jobs opportunities.There are jobs available in the teaching profession after completion of this course.Some of the students go for PHD, while some of the students go for competitive examinations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The academic/tuition fees for one year is just 18,200 Rupees which is quite feasible and affordable according to me.There was no problem for me to pay the fees as it was very low as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

There are various types of clubs and societies in our college which students can join as per their interests.To name a few: dramatics society, music society and dance society are the most popular societies of our college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are okay-ish.The rooms are all in sharing and single bunker rooms are very expensive.There is a canteen in out hostel which is open 24/7 from which students can buy snacks and all.

Admission

Candidates willing to complete their masters in English from this college have to appear for an Entrance Examination which is conducted by the university itself.There is no management quota in this college.

Faculty

The faculty is highly knowledgeable and and highly experienced.They have deep understanding of each and everything in their field/subject.The faculty members are really co operative and are very helping.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA, the MBA curriculum used to cover major factors like finance, hr, Information Technology, and marketing. For real-time applications and problem-solving, the JNTU curriculum was the best as it deals with practical issues and concerns. How ever few subjects like Business statistics for managers, and computer applications have such concepts which are very old and inappropriate for current job market conditions, I think in this area they need improvements. Before joining the college, they said it is 6 months duration from each semester, but in the second year, exams were conducted with only 4 months duration, where I felt some of the concepts were difficult to cover.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester after CRT training. Companies visited: TCS 120 offers, Wipro 85 offers, Accenture 60 offers, Infosys 50 offers, Capgemini 40 offers, Tech Mahindra 30 offers, some startups 2 to 5 offers each. Highest package is 7.5 LPA by EPAM Systems for developer role. Average package is 3.8 to 4.2 LPA for associate engineer and analyst roles. About 65 to 70 percent of CSE students get placed through campus. Others go for off campus, higher studies, or GATE. My plan after degree is to join a service based company and upskill in cloud to switch later.

The Insides of KLU

Placement Experience:

Our College provides 100% placements. From 4th Semester, we have received training in interview preparation and written test techniques. By 5th Semester, we became eligible for campus placements, attracting a range of companies, including Bank of America, Accenture, Intellipat, and State Street. No company has departed without making offers, and several students have successfully secured positions, at least one student is placed in each of the companies mentioned above. The highest package being 5LPA at State Street and an average package of 3LPA. Out of our batch ,196 members opted for placements, while 35 remained to be placed. I have been fortunate to secure a position at Accenture, along with 28 other peers and I plan to join the company upon graduation.

I applied to university of Delhi, pondicherry university and university of Karnataka. I only got admission to this university. The reason why i got rejected by others was that the cutoff was above my score for general category. I had a score of 220 but Karnataka university called students who got 225. The admission process is purely based on cuet score and the university also conduct entrance exams. Eligibility differs from department to department. Review for good college

I wrote some college entrance tests and also got admission.But i don't join in that colleges. Compared to that colleges my college is best in teaching, NCC, Campus atmosphere etc. There is no entrance test for admission.
