Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus solely prioritizes on giving training on fundamentals and practical applications. This is done to make us learn the fine skills of the field and thereby make us passionate about what we are learning.

Placement Experience

Our management gives us training for core skills and communication skills too. This helps the students in long run for internships and job offers. Most of our seniors are placed in top companies and consultancies with good salary packages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee amount to be paid for B.Com general is just Rs.2900/- and this fee is very cheap and feasible. Along with this fee, we are supposed to pay Rs.100 additionally as registration fee while starting the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the socially and economically backward students, the management offers scholarship oppurtunities. Scholarships are offered by government for students who are disadvantaged financially and also for those who are academically outstanding.

Campus Life

We have a sprawling stadium of 5 acres. This is protected by walls and aims in developing physical education among the students. Practice for several types of sports is offered by the college for both boys and girls.

Admission

After completing my 12th standard board exams, I have registered myself for the B.Com General course in Ghatal Rabindra Satabarsiki MahaVidyalaya. As per the eligibility criteria, I got selected and got proceeded with the admission process.

Faculty

The staffs make use of the microphone and display facilities available in each classroom. This way, they make learning very interesting. They are also very supportive and motivating. The professors have high experience in their fields as well.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.
