Course Curriculum Overview

Following the syllabus set by Vidyasagar university, the course covers from the basic of economics to understanding foreign economic conditions in alignment with the market requirements. The college follows a semester pattern and there are six semesters over the period of three years.

Placement Experience

The college does not offer any placement opportunity for the students.The students must arrange for internship and look for any job opportunities on their own. The college is looking to set up a placement cell in the coming years.

College Events

Cultural events happen in the college on a regular basis. Most of the national holidays are celebrated such as Gandhi Jayanthi, Independence day and Republic day. The college conducts and participates in many events across the state.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is 3000 rupees per year and for the entire course, it comes up to 9000. The fee can be paid each year and since the fee is less, it is affordable by people from all walks of life. Students can enjoy best education at low price.

Campus Life

There are good lab facilities based on the department. Both indoor and outdoor games are there for students to enjoy with outdoor games such as football and cricket. Indoor games like chess and carrom board is also present.

Admission

The college accepts admission only based on the merit of the students. Only students who have scored good marks in higher secondary exams will be considered for admission. Merit points are given on the basis of the scores of the bet five subjects.

Faculty

The faculty in the college are very knowledgeable and ensure that all the classes are taken properly. The students can take notes and refer additional text books preferred by the professors for getting good marks in the university exams.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.
