Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is one which focuses on teaching us both the theoretical and the practical aspect of the study that is medicine. There are exams per year, along with three internal assesments and a final exam.

Placement Experience

4

There are no such placement opportunities given in the MBBS program. The program focuses on making us professionals rather than providing us jobs, and that is something which all of us understand. There is a compulsory period of one year Internship that we have to do to get our degrees which we get at prestigious organisations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit on the expensive side with the total fee for the 4.5 years being 5.16 Lacs, bifurcated into ? 109,550 for the first three years and ? 187,050 for the last year. There are opportunities available for loan to pay the fee.

Campus Life

We have a lot of extra curricular activities that take place in our institution. There is an annual day celebration, we even have KIMS Premier League for Cricket. We also have an inter college WHO debate.

Admission

First of all to be eligible for the admission, you have to get atleast 50% in 10+2 exam or Bachelor's degree in medical science from any recognised university. Then, the admission depends on the score of your NEET examination.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is one which is quite good. Each of our department has 10-15 people, consisting of professor, assistant professor etc. They are really interested about the subject they teach and have good experience, of both teaching and working. They make learning so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.

Placement Experience:

In the final year, students are given the freedom to choose for company internships or for individual craft documentations. After completing the internships there is a college campus placement every year. The placement wing is good and IIFT students get placed in many different companies. The salary package varies according to the Merits. If not placements the students can opt for higher studies as the college provides post-graduate courses and similar diploma courses too.

There's a lot of issues in that college. The management is aware of it. They don't need people telling them about it. They just start working on it and clearing it one by one. I believe it can definitely be the best college for any student of the management wants to achieve that.
