Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course is of three years and as we have a two semester system, there are a total of six semesters in our course, the examinations are held at the end of each semester and regular tests and quizzes are conducted.

Placement Experience

We have amazing placement opportunities given to us at college. The students are selected by organisation and companies 80% on the basis of the interviews given by the students and 20% on the basis of the academic record.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is expensive and it is worth the facilities provided to us and there are scholarships provided so that the students who cannot afford can avail. The fee per year costs up to INR 35,000 and the fee for the entire course in INR 1,15,000.

Campus Life

The college conducts various events , these events are mainly organised by the students under the guidance and supervision. There are national events, exhibitions, sports tournaments, cultural events , inter-college competitions etc held.

Admission

To get admission, I had to first apply to the college after which I had to submit the marks scored in grade 12th after which, my name was put on the merit list and then I had to go for a campus interview.

Honest Review about Praxis Business School

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

IIT KHARGPUR- WORTH IT?

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.
