Graduate Mechanical Engineering is a very goal-oriented course with a mandatory 1 year plus training in the seas. I was attracted by this course structure. It is very consuming yet an extremely rewarding course for passionate students willing to work with determination in maritime sector.

As a mandatory part of the course we have to be placed on the seas for at least a year or more. Great experience is given during these placements. And these placements further open up the doors to innumerable opportunities.

Apart from the booking fee, the annual fee for the whole course of 1 year is around 3 lac 25 thousand rupees. Additionally an amount of 25,000 rupees has to be paid during admission process for booking your seat. It is averagely priced for a course this prestigious and reputable.

Many well being programmes and workshops are held for the students and teachers at our institute. Apart from these informative sessions, the farewell ceremonies are celebrated in a grand manner. It is like our culture to celebrate and host these ceremonies.

Maritime courses are a prestige to pursue but so is the prestigious competition which thousands of students face. And only some people achieve success in the race. I had to appear for MEO IV class entrance test and get a satisfactory score to get accepted.
