Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is a three year program which is divided into six semesters . I n the first two years we are taught about the fashion industry and the styles of customers on which brand they have utmost focus. The exam structure is also quite good as there is no pressure even if we have low grades.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are really good .This year many top companies like Tata , IBM , Wills lifestyle came to our college and took 70% of the students for reputable positions like associate manager , Branch and research officer , Footwear designer and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees is around 49000 and the exam fees is around 2000 and the total package is around 71000 for the first semester and 56500 in the third and fourth semester. This is quite acceptable if we compare the facilities that are provided to us and the teachers who are teaching us in refining our skills.
Campus Life
We have various international tie ups and linkages with industries. Various workshops on quality and costing management , shop floor operations , footwear fashion and designing are also held.Last week we had a thrilling lecture on industry experts and production by Ms. Bithika Gupta from NIFT Delhi which was very interesting as we gained significant knowledge on the types of industries and how they operate.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are all in good condition. You can choose a single or double occupancy room as per your requirement . Before taking the hostel facility you need to submit a one time refundable security deposit of 5000 which you need to pay with the semester fees. The hostel charges are around 18000 which can be more or less. The food at mess and canteen is also quite good .
Admission
I had applied online in this college . After that all the documentation and verification take place and you have to submit a medical letter that you do not suffer from any serious condition. Thereafter I was granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teachers are really supportive they handle all our queries and doubts in most simple way. Every teacher have different teaching methods . They also give us practical knowledge so that we have good knowledge about the footwear industry.
