Ultimate college life.

Allover my college is a very good. Management, alumni, senior student everything is perfect. Although placement is not good but other things are very good we cannot ignore them. Fees is very feasible I don,t think any college is there less expensive than this. Therefore I will conclude it is a perfect place to study and spend your student life.

I had given entrance exam for CLAT in which I scored 75/200 which is not sufficient for the merit list, then I took the entrance exam of Maharishi Dayanand University for law course in which I scored 50/100 and I got admission in it. I opt for this college because it is well reputated university in Haryana( A grade by NAAC) and also is nearby to my hometown. MDU conducts a entrance exam and according to the numbers rank is alloted to students according to which counselling takes place.

BA LLB(Hons.) is a five year course which is divided into 10 semesters each semester is of 6 months after which exam takes place course curriculum is as follows 1st sem History, Political Science , English , Hindi , Sociology 2nd sem same subjects of 1st sem 3rd same subjects of 2nd sem 4th sem same subjects of 3rd sem 5th sem constitutional law-1, contract-1, company law, professional ethics, public international law, tort, Indian penal code 6th sem constitutional law-2, contract-2, information technology, rti act, muslim law,public international law 7th sem Crpc , jurisprudence law, Labour law-1, competition law, banking law, taxation law, administrative law8th sem evidence Act, equity and trust, labour law-2, environment law, transfer of property act, penology and victimology9th sem CPC, ADR, private international law, corporate finance, insurance law, drafting and pleading, foreign trade law 10th sem Land law, tenancy and panchayat, intellctual property law , interpretation of statute and principles of legislation, financial market regulations.

College contact with different advocates and law firms for the internship to students and direct the student to work under them during summer holidays. I had done internship under a senior High Court Advocate Mr. Sanjay Pathak for 2 months. Although internship conducted by the college does not offer any stipend but practical experience was very great. 2 students pair have to do internship under an advocate which was recomended by the college.

In this field my college is in quite backfoot although different comapnies come but the placement percentage is very low.Only two or three law firm comes and hire only 2 or 3 students. The companies which come this year and there package offered is as follows 1. G.B Singh Law Firm 2 students hired Package- ?2,16,000 p.a 2. Kanth And Associates-1 sudent hiredPackage - ? 2,48,000 p.a 3.Dhir and Dhir Associates Students Hired - 1Package - ? 2,20,000 p.a.

In my college there are number of events are celebrated some of these events are as follows 1. Youth Festival this event is celebrated on very large scale and go for 2 days. Different debates , dance, drama , poetry and other activities take place during it 2. national moot court event this event is also go for 1 week and diiferent students from different states take part in this competition 3. Independence Day - It is a one day event celebrated every year 4. Republic Day- It is celebrated every year. Last year Vice President of India came as a cheif guest and celebrated 3 days before republic day as Honbl. Vice President busy on 26th Jan 5. Raahgiri - It is a event in which vehicles are banned in university and teachers and students will use cycle or walking as a convince.Further marathon and other sports events is also organised from time to time.

As it is a government college fees is very feasible the structure of fees is as follows admission fee ?50 tuition fee ? 360 amalgamated fund ? 240 development fee ?1000 curriculum charges ?50 other ?1423 examination charges ?400 total ? 3523 p.a fees is charged on early basis.

Scholarship are provided to the students which are as follows 1. BC students - ?4000 every year by government 2. ST/ SC students- ? 9000 every year by the government 3. 60 % above - ? 1200 each sem scored4. 70 % above- ? 2000 each sem scoredLoan is not neede as fees is very feasible.

Campus life all over is good. Sex ratio is about 60-40 mostly are boys. Most of the students belong to the middle class family although lower and higher classes are also there but most of them are from middle class. There is no such issue regarding the race , religion or gender , all things are normal regarding this. Political parties are highly active in the college like JSO, INSO, NSUI although students election are banned then also there involvement is very high in the college but they don,t disturb the normal students but fights between them is a normal thing.

Hostel facilities are very good as compare to other colleges and universities. Each student is alloted a single room there is no sharing and each room contain bed, chair, almirah , table. Hostel have a coperative mess which is runned by student committee and monthly total expenses are divided into number of students. The bill approximately come ? 1800- ?2000 monthly. Food quality is very good as all the things are in hand of student commitee although sometimes we get bored due to same type of food.Further University charge ? 12,000 p.a for hostel of which ? 6000 is mess security which is returned at the end of every year.

College alumni and senior students are very good. They are very interactive and helpful towards their junior students. When we came as a fresher no ragging is there and also they help us very much in understanding the college faculty, enviornmnet and course. And they are always there for solving any problem of us. I dont remember they ever shouted or have violent behaviour towards their junior. They respect us and we respect them.

Exams are held in every 6 months structure of exams are that each subject is of 100 marks which is divided into further 10 marks sessional occur before 20 days of exam in which a question of 10 marks is attempted by students) 5 marks attendence 5 marks behaviour of student 80 marks main theory.

The faculty of my college is very good and maintains a good educational standard. Each subject is taught by a specialised professor and also they maintain a good standard. Faculty members are very helpful towards students and they also personally solve the problem of each and every student.I really appreciate them for their coperation towards students.
