Outstanding University for Agricultural students

The course Curriculum of UAS is very quite simple with a lot of practical things. The examination will be of both internal and external where in internals consists of midterm exams, practical papers, manuals, task all together 50 marks and external will be of 50 marks.

The placement & job opportunities are very good in farm science course and we can suitable for both govt. & Pvt. Sectors jobs. And in our degree programme last year of graduation the students are assigned for internship in Agri biotechnology connected companies & institution. The job opportunities regarding the course are many like agriculture officer, bank and field officers. Many private companies will select the students as a sales manager or researcher.

The Fee structure is very feasible because I am studying in educational loan. It includes both college & hostel fees. The seat for which I am selected for this college is government seat but some amount of fee should we paid to institution such as your fee, laboratory fee, tuition fee etc. UAS is a government college so the fee structure is reasonable where each semester will be charged of 10000 to 15000 and total there are 8 semesters along with this of you stay in hostel you have to pay a monthly.

UAS gives scholarship facility to merit students where the students have to score highest marks in particular batch, and will be selected. They only will get scholarship of Rs 15000 yearly based on their attendance. There is no loan facility in the UAS College as per my information.

Every extracurricular activity are organized by the management and are also encouraged to students where it conducts various programmes like youth fests, inter college competitions, NCC and individual camps. There is availability of equipped lab for learning a lot of practical things. The events such as college cultural day, sports meet, educational tours and many other different celebration like republic day, Independence Day, Gandhi Day, youth day etc. arte organized in our college.

The University of Agricultural Sciences, (UAS) offers different postgraduate and doctoral programs in the field of Agriculture, Agronomy, Social Sciences, Horticulture and Forestry. It also offers B.Sc and B.Tech programs under the field of UG courses in 12 disciplines. UAS Raichur offers admission in the M.Sc and PhD courses on the basis of the percentage scored in the master's degree and also on the basis of the UAS entrance exam score. The college offers 19 courses in 2 streams and 8 specializations. The student has to achieve a minimum of 50 marks out of 100 in the written entrance examination conducted by the university.

All the teachers of UAS are knowledgeable. They are well-qualified, and they also put a lot of pains to do their teaching job in the university. Teachers prepare the students according to industry wise. There are many departments like pathology, economics etc. All the faculty work for 3 main objectives are Education, Research and Extension, Every faculty of the own departments have completed their P.HD in their own course.
