Remarks

College infrastructure is good, college have clean and spacious class room which if fully ventilated. College library is maintained and library have all kind of books available. Overall college environment is good and finally I can say this is the best college to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculum for B.ED course is very organised. Curriculum is researched based which deliver best teacher to the school. B.ED course is for two year and students have to do teaching practice in school.

Placement Experience

Students don't feel much difficulty for getting job after completing course, Many students got job in private school with good salary and some got teacher job in government school. I got selected for teacher in Delhi Pubic school.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have paid 75 thousand rupees for my total fee for two years B.ED course, I was comfortable in paying this amount so I can say it was feasible for me. College can Provide scholarship to few students who is economically weak.

Campus Life

College give similar importance to extracurricular activities same like curricular activities. College have indoor and outdoor sports facilities which is in very good condition and maintained. Many cultural activities and events will happened in the college.

Admission

I got admission by qualifying through the merit list and got shortlisted by the college for admission. To get admission in Siliguri B.ED candidate should have Bachelor degree, candidate those who got shortlisted in merit list have to submit all original documents for verification.

I liked the faculty of this college very much, they are very talented, supportive and taught us very well. Initially I felt difficulty in making lesson plan but teacher helped me lot for that. Teacher complete all the topic well in advance so that students get enough time for examination.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better. And it would have been better if we had studied Android app development a little better.

I always wanted to go in the field of education so that I could share my knowledge with the children. In this college, the admission is based on merit only.
