Experience of Student Life in NITW

I will say it is one of the top ranked college where a student can enhance his communication and technical skills.

GATE 92 percentile since it is one of the top colleges for both education and also for placements. For Post graduation there will be no interview and they follows admission process which includes the following.The college will notify about the admission in the news paper and their website, The student along with their elder may present for admission with all documentations, student can opt for 3 to 4 courses and will be allocated based on percentile or ranks

Course curriculum includes the fundamentals which are mandatory for a student. apart form the regular subjects there will be advance subjects that used in the industry.

I was sent to one of the top research institute in Kerala (Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) in Kozhikode. Since i am getting stipend my stipend was 8000/- PM.

It was hard year for PG students in 2009. Only few companies came to campus for PG, they are L&T, Integraph, Infosys, Google, Facebook etc.since it is during recession only 70% of PG students were placed, most of the students in B.Tech were placed.

Spring spreeTechnozionThere are the two cultural and technical fest that will be organized by the students, students for almost all NIT and universities will participate in these events.

Semister Fee, Tution fee, development fee apart from these there will be Hostel and mess fess.The fee in this college is bit expensive compare to other NIT's.

yes, in college loan facility is available and scholarships are also available for few students education loan was provided by SBH within the campus.

It is one the campus where a student can balance both his studies and sports. apart from these students can enhance there communication skills by various other extra circular activities that takes place within the campus. Hostel parties mostly includes Birthday parties.

Hostel rooms are good with all the facilities like 24X7 internet, we have vegetarian and Non vegetarian for both versions about 6 mess are available during my period later a huge hostel and mess is under construction which is 11 storied building with all facilities, PG students and 3rd and final year B.Tech students will have individual rooms and others based on sharing two per each room.

All the ex- students are part of alumni and most of the senior students are active with the juniors and helps in many ways. There will be annual alumni meet in the college.

Exams and Labs are not so frequent but it depends on the individual lecturer. All the exams in NITW are on Grade basis

Faculty is one of the best I have seen. Faculty helps individual students to enhance their skills. Faculty will encourage the students in all activities even faculty will help students individuals if required.
