Course Curriculum Overview

Course duration is of 2 years with 4 semesters. It is designed to familiarize students with all aspects of management. We have our field studies and group brainstorming sessions. Once you enter, you will experience a total change in your personality.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is still average. Many companies come every year like Axis, Cipla, Business organizations, etc. to recruit students with an average package of around 3 LPA. Alumni network are very helpful for getting internships if any seniors recommend you.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for my two-year course are around 8,130 INR out of which around 6000 has to paid in 1st year and rest in 2nd. Considering other MBA colleges which charge you in lakhs, this is very feasible. As for hostel charges, they have to paid separately and they are also quite a good bargain.

Campus Life

We celebrate all festivals in our college. I, myself am a football frantic. We have our own fests and annual sports. We, students, believe to work in a team and so on, we host such events and fests promoting team spirit. We also go on trips to Gangtok as it can be considered a paradise on Earth. All in all, I enjoyed it a lot and the campus life is a precious part of my memory.

Admission

Like most of the other MBA colleges one needs to appear for CAT, and so did I. One needs to have scored at least 50% in Graduation, along with either CAT or MAT scores will help you land here. All you have to do is apply online which is fairly simple.

Faculty

Faculty is highly qualified and with years of experience in teaching. They will help and guide you about anything related to subjects. There are few guest lecturers, though I personally am not a fan of theirs.

A very honest review of NIT SIKKIM

Placement Experience:

Placement is overall good here. Students from ece/eee are better placed than cse here. Here, companies like nvedia, apple has given the highest package. Previous year highest package is 55 lakh ,which had given to two students from eee branch. This year highest package is 35 lakh . Which is offered by two students. Now ,I am concluding all branch avg and placement percentage - Civil -70%placed Mechanical- 100% placed Eee-92% Ece-90% Cse/ai- 80% Overall -86% Average - 8.85 lpa Median-7.5 lpa Highest -35 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated, they need to update it. The professors try to accomodate and teach stuff out of the syllabi as per the emerging trends. The difficulty level is average and the exams are easy to score on.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

Placement Experience:

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

The placement of our college is pretty good for the b.tech students like this year they are getting average of 7 lacs per annum but in BCA course it is 3 lakh or 4 lakh per Adam but in MCA it is 6to7 lakhs

I chose this college because it was feasible and close to my state (Assam). It was the only central university close to my state which provided psychology honors. Honest my review

I had applied at jnu but did not got selected and few others but this university was closer to my home and Sikkim is a great place to study because of the people very good. I feel safe and secure had lots of fun.
