Review on scet in brief

Good aspects are the college has good public, it has a good reputation in Surat. It's in the center of the city and has been graduating since 2004. It had a good record in the past but now the placement has not been that good. Cultural life is good at scet with many events and fests and college is known for organizing events and fests like this. Bad aspects are that it still cannot compete University like Nirma and other famous colleges of Gujarat. Despite giving such high fees the facilities and the environment is still not satisfied. Some faculty are good and some are not based on which you can decide the conduct of the college. Classrooms are not up to the mark which it should be. The reason for preferring this college was if you want to stay in the same city and continue your education. Other reasons are it also has good GTU ranking than many other colleges. And according to merit, I can only get college like this. I visited the official site of scet and may have seen a youtube video.

I wanted to pursue computer engineering so I chose that because it's the most emerging and everlasting branch. The student ratio is about 70 people in one class. The faculty is good at the start and they go a little bit fast at the end. Some faculty are good at teaching and some are not so people. The curriculum is based on the official Gujarat technical university so they formally follow that curriculum. Exams were based on the official GTU dates and exams were taken accordingly. Most exams are easy to pass but difficult to score good marks in them.

4th-year students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies come for placement such as Tata and IBM but the income is about 4lakh to 10lakh per annum not more than that. Moreover, the college has very low placement rates. from last year. About 10 to 15 percent are placed. My plans are to do a job if I get and try for much other online competition to get a job or further continue my higher studies.

They have not hiked fees but in the past, it was less now it has 55000 per sem tuition fee cost. It critically so high, but there are various institutions or trust which pay your half fee based on your merits or some marks. On-campus I have not got any internship or campus placement yet I am in 3rd year.

There are many fests cultural and technical. Verve is the best cultural fest that happens here. which includes dance and other activities which happens once a year There are many technical fests of GTU as well as the college itself and other events. The classroom contains a blackboard, fans, projector, and the pc, and all the necessary labs. People who are interested take part in sports there are a special sports office and other facilities. Moreover, there is an annual sports competition Co -Olympics and many GTU events. Also, state-level championship and other things are there. There are many clubs Coding clubs,DSC clubs,Alexa club, Startup clubs which are run by the students for the students.
