The curriculum is designed by keeping industrial and research needs, as well as the rapid development in the IT industry. Flexibility in curriculum is provided through Electives, Seminars and Projects. The program is supported by well-equipped laboratories consisting of the state-of-the-art servers & computers.

Department of CE/IT/MCA/BCA, school of engineering, RK University has organized a one-day workshop named RK Hack Day under Mozilla SOAC club and in association with MLH (Major League Hacking). The workshop was co-sponsored by Microsoft, GitHub and Verisign in terms of goodies and gifts. MLH is an organization that operates a league for student hackathons. The workshop was scheduled for 5th December 2019. The workshop focused on How to collaborate with GitHub.

We, at RKU believe that the alumni play a key role in structuring the frame of a university’s reputation. It is a continuous bond for all the alumni so as to help them develop mutually. Let this be a start of a connection that goes stronger as the time passes by. This process is self-feeding as well. If a school becomes well known for producing graduates that are intelligent, innovative, and effective in their fields, then its reputation will grow. New graduates will have better job prospects because they went to a well-known school, and the process will continue.

A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education. It is also an incentive as well as encouragement for students who are talented but do not have the means to study further. Many types of scholarship are offered to students such as Post metric, merit-based, need-based, caste based and student-specific.

RKU students and faculty members showed some extraordinary skills during athletics events in Sports Galore 2020. Participants competed in various sports like running, disc throw, shot put, javelin throw & long jump which had some breathtaking competitions.

The campus is residential and offers an environment full of opportunities for personal growth. Currently, there are 5 well-planned hostels of which 3 are for girls. Every hostel is supervised by the warden and a faculty-in-charge, who ensure that utmost care is taken to provide best amenities to the students.

With a motive to create positive alumni relations that can strengthen the bond in our chapter and thereby in the community, further provides invaluable advising, create professional contacts and thus contribute continuously to bring the change the only constant.

The program is handled by well qualified and experienced faculties, almost all of whom are actively involved in research. This creates a lively and stimulating atmosphere to study Information Technology Engineering. Faculty members are associated with various professional bodies like IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), ACM (The Association for Computing Machinery) and CSI (Computer Society of India).
