Remarks

It is not possible to say anything bad about this college. This college has changed my life. Those who want to do something in life should be admitted in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

If we want to be admitted in college, the result has to be very good. Everyone has to get over 60 percent. Moreover, those who want to do Honors in English have to enter the college through entrance exam. Even those who want to keep English as a subject as a general paper have to take an entrance exam. Our college is under Westbengal State University. Examinations are now conducted through semesters at Barasat University or Westbengal State University.

Placement Experience

4.5

The number of our college failures is very low. Most of the students pass with very good marks. Even now many of our college students have the opportunity to teach in their own college. The curriculum, equipment and environment of your college are all very good. So our college got A grade from NAAC in 2019.

College Events

4.5

Special events are celebrated in our college on special days of the year. College students can participate there as they wish. In our college, Mahalaya New Year, Swami Vivekananda's birthday, Sarada's mother's birthday, etc. are celebrated. Moreover, there is an annual sports competition in our college. We all participate there and have so much fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Money is taken through online payment in college. If a payment has to be canceled, it is transferred back to his account. The payment process of the college is very good. Sometimes money is taken through drafts or challan. Now that online payment has been arranged everywhere, money is not taken by hand. Very little money is taken from colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available here. Students whose families are very poor are helped. Many women get scholarships like kanyasree.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a large library that can be used by all college students. Moreover, there is a large library in the hostel for the students in the hostel. In addition to studies, everything like physical exercise, sports, etc. has been kept in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Very little money is taken from one-time colleges. Since our college is a girls' college, the hostel is also for girls. However, studying in a hostel is not compulsory. Many people from far and wide come to study in this college. Hostels have been arranged for those who come from far away. Those who live near the college are usually not allowed to stay in the college hostel. If there is still space in the hostel after keeping everyone, they are given a chance to stay. The hostel environment is very healthy for the students. Studying, eating and drinking can all be done very well.

Alumni/Alumna

College teachers are very supportive of the students. Moreover, the senior sisters also help their younger sisters a lot. Those who stay in the hostel get a lot of help from their older sisters.

Admission

I first went to college with one of my friends. I really like the college dress. Then on the last day of college admission I was admitted. After college admission I realized, Those who will be admitted to this college will become very good people. I was very lucky to be admitted to this college. Simply put, this college has made me. I love my college very much.

Faculty

4.5

In our college, the lecture of each subject is given for 45 minutes. In 45 minutes and those who do not understand reading, they can understand reading by meeting the teachers at the end of the class. The nature of those who give lectures is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
