Remarks

I was very scared before i joined my college SCET as surat was new for me and so people also. But all things went great,great friends,great teachers,great events it was happy and awsome expirience.

Entrance Preview

I gave examination in GUJCET i.e JEE right now. I love to be surat and SCET so i took admission in SCET and i love technology and programming so i took IT as my profession.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was great. Every year four written examination and 2 practical examinations where there. Two were mid semester exams and two were final semester examinations.

Internships Opportunities

August infotech,TCS open campus,Solwin Infotech,Strategic Allience,M/S Atul,L & T,M/s Avinashi,M/s Innowera,M/s Spectrum solutions and many more. Stipend was from 1.2 k to 4k per anum.

College Events

Verve which is our annual function,GTU cultural events,Kshitij which is our famous technical event. Also our IT department helds many events like IT quiz,Poster presentation and many. Our IT event is known as converse IT. Verve and Kshitij are the biggest event our college holds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my live it was feasible but for now its expensive. 40k per anum was fee when i was in SCET. That means 20k for each semester and examinations fees are like 100 or 150 rs per exam. No extra fees than this also scholorships provided for students with certain criteria.

Scholarships provided for students with certain criteria. I dont know particular answer for this. Also loans availability is there or not i dont know as i belong to open caste.

Campus Life

Campus life is that i loved the campus life. Our campus was very famous among surat. Extracurricular activities were also best part of SCET. Verve and Kshitij were famous events.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food that is our cantin food was awsome. We used to have food at there as it was very reasonable at a same time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Experience with you college seniors was great. We always bought or borrow books from seniors. As they give it to us with less money or free of charge.

Exam Structure

It was very chilled out. We normally had 4 labs per week and labs were fun as i love programming i love labs. Also exams were frequent but faculty was so supportive that exams were good for us to handle.

Faculty

Faculty was so cooperative and so supportive. They have motivated me for great career. I m thankful to my JAVA teacher nishi mam and my HOD,mita mam for great knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Placement provide is moderate in my college. So my backup option is , i want to get nice college for my master's through engineering competitive exams and college university exams,if i get my dream company so this is not required.

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Placement was not good at all!. There are only internships provided and only those students can archive the good placement who have good relations with our principal. This this was litterly not good at all. The amount of internship was unpaid and some are 5k per month!.

About 60 percent of my class is been placed those who have sat in the placement. Placement Experience:

We have huge placement offers and a lot of internships and we have collaboration with top 3000 companies in many other fields across all courses and we have highest package about 64 lakhs in cse department and we have huge placements in hardware department like electronics and civil and we have collaboration with qualcomm and Intel nvidia and many more and we could be placed from the 2 year like probably 5 semester for the placements and around 100 companies have visited nd around made a 1200 job offers with marwadi university in last 3 months and as I told we have 64 lakhs in highest and lowest is 6 lakhs and the percentage is about 90 to 92% placed who are selected and my plans after degree is to be good placed in a top tier company with good and minimal placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
