Remarks

College could have been better if the staff were more experienced and talented. Many staff were just last year passed out students who can't do justice to the role.

Entrance Preview

There were no entrance exam because the admission was from Diploma to Degree directly into 2nd year of BE. The admission was based on the score of HSC and Diploma in Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was good and tough among other peer universities. We were haveing the syllabus of NIT. There was more about programming and software engineering learning.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship but only project in the final semester along with studies. Hence no stipend was offered. There were lectures for developing the project and we used to develop our projects in laboratories. There were other subjects also for study.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement was very poor. Hardly any small local companies used to come for placements in IT industry. We had to search jobs ourselves.

College Events

3.5

College events were good like the annual technical festival where we used to exhibit our projects. It was a nice learning experience. Then there were cultural festivals for which all students used to wait. There were days celebrated for whole week when whole college used to be like ramp for the fashion show.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible but little bit expensive. It was 36000 per year only tuition fees. Apart from this there were other expenses like hostel fees, food, traveling, books & stationary etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know if there were any. I didn't inquired because I didn't needed that.I don't know if there were any. I didn't inquired because I didn't needed that.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was very happening. Lab facilities were very nice. Sports was good. There were sports days being celebrated every year and many games were played like cricket, volleyball etc. There were no debates in the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel was very cheap but food was really bad and hostel facilities were also poor. It was like a haunted place where there was no cleanliness in the rooms lobbies or toilets. Toilets were in so pathetic condition that it was mostly blocked and you can't even go inside in such a smelling and overflowing toilets. But we used to go because of emergencies.

Alumni/Alumna

We have alumni network in facebook but its just formality. I hardly see any activity there because its just for the sake of being in a common college group.

Exam Structure

Exams were only once in a semester which we liked instead of haveing monthly or quarterly. Practical exams were taken after the theoretical exams.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was good but they were not much experienced. All were of 2-3 years experience because of which there was not much talent in the teaching staff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
