My College, Best College

Though luckily in 1998 there were no entrance for admission in Engineering. I was firm to be an engineer and easily got admission in EC branch of SCET college.

The course of electronics engineering is pretty tough. It is very lengthy. As a creative person, I found it very difficult to adapt to logical engineering, but after joining job as an engineer in Reliance, we were suppose to work. It was work anyhow and we become thorough with practical knowledge. So I feel courses of engineering should be designed in a way, where practical knowledge is also incorporated.

Presently stipends offered are good. During the phase of 2002 there was nothing like this. We were not even given any on field training. Electronics should be totally based on on field training.

Immense job opportunities are present now. I was feeling helpless as a telecom engineer in 2003 to find job specifically in my city, but now when I look around, there is so much to do.

I remember the events verve and sparsh in our college and SVNIT, which we used to attend. It was the event of 7 days, which was so relaxing and rejuvenating.

I was finding it very difficult to arrange fees of 2500 being a girl child of a family in 1998 - 2002 period. I really don't know how I could have completed studies, if I had to pay 45000 a year.

There was scholarship for girls given by government. It is for gals, but as a shy girl I was not smart enough to go an inquire for the scholarship.

Exam structure is very hectic. Though in present times things have changed a lot. But we are failing to see college pass outs with a determination or working with a good output.
