Remarks
I was unable to score high enough on the All India JEE Mains and Advanced Examination, and based on my state rankings, I got admission in the college. It's reputation, placement opportunities, and good opportunities for external exposure like internships, workshops, international industry tours sets it apart.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is quite standard. Students are given opportunities to have enough industry exposure. Selected students have been taken on industry tours abroad. The teaching faculty is competent and encouraged us to publish papers or research.
Placement Experience
The college mainly has tie-ups with lots of companies, providing more opportunities for placements than the average engineering college. The packages offered are quite average. Recruiters are mainly from IT companies like TCS, Webel, Wipro.
College Events
There are seminars, events, fests, faires held almost everyday. International conferences, workshops, technical fests are held across the calendar about three or four times. Cultural fests, religious and national celebrations are popular and well-organized and enthusiastically attended.
Campus Life
The sports facilities are average. There is one sports room for all indoor games and physical education classes. The library, though slightly cramped, is well equipped with books and computers. Labs are moderately well supplied and maintained. Campus wi-fi is quite fast variable, rather weak in classrooms, where is needed the most, but strongest in the library.
