Remarks

The teachers and facilities are good in college. Good canteen. Bad things include unavailability of a proper ground to enhance sports. Also some of the crowd is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My institution focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge as well as offers industry required training courses for students who wish to join various industry sectors. The curriculum is well planned to have students learn about topics, then have practical done related to it as per university syllabus. The college then offers further extra curricular activities and non syllabus related courses which help in preparation for industries.

Placement Experience

3

The college provides internships to many of the students, mostly to those who are good in academics. It also supports students who are going for internships in their own. The placement opportunities in the college are also vast for all fields. There are many campus placement fairs throughout the year organised in the institution.

College Events

3

Ganpati festival, Navratri, Diwali, Holi are festivals celebrated in the college. Aside from this, the college has a 'FRESHERS' for new incoming students, a yearly fest known as 'NAKSHATRA' which has cultural and sports events and a car and bike expo known as 'RIDE FOR PRIDE', both of which see many celebrities come to the college. Technical events are also conducted by every department throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for OPEN category for 1 year is approximately 1 lakh. It includes tuition fees, stationery fees, exam fees, etc. The fee for other categories like OBC, SC, ST, Economically Backwards class etc is lower and varies. The fees for the college can be paid by Demand Draft(DD) or bank transfer.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarships or education loan. But the college does offer such options to students who are academically good or Economically weak.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is more inclined towards boys as it is an engineering college. Still most departments have almost the same number of boys and girls except the mechanical and automobile department. Various workshops and seminars are held to promote woman empowerment and provide youth inspiration. Entrepreneurship is also encouraged. Every department has its own students organisation and the college has a student council. The college has a Rotaract club of its own which conducts cultural, social and educational events throughout the year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis are very friendly and help by providing help in studies, projects and by giving future guidance.

Admission

I have been interested in Engineering since childhood. But I didn't get good enough marks in 12th. So I had to look for an institution that had a lower cut-off. This was one of them. It was also close to me so as to reduce travelling time. I did the admission process online through the DTE website. Once I got this college, I went there and completed the admission process.

Faculty

3.5

There are 5 to 6 subjects every semester. Each subject has different faculty. There are 7-8 lectures of 1 hr everyday which includes practical as well as theory. Most of the faculty is well qualified with at least a masters degree or a PHd. Some faculty have just Bachelor's degrees. The faculties are friendly and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course automation and Robotics because robotics has a great future ahead. The course curriculum is up to date with the industry's standards. The faculty: student ratio i.e. for every 30 students there is a faculty member. Most of the faculties have Ph.D. and MTech degrees. The examination is taken in time, the summer exam starts in April and the winter exam starts in November. The difficulty of the exam is not very tough if studied properly it is easy to get good marks.

Management was very good. The staff wqs very good and supportive. Even I love the managenent of the college but somehow in terms of money and poor higher authority orders our college was a bit behind as compare to other college. But must say whaterver it is. This was the best college and best educational institute I have ever come across. The staff was the back bone of this college.
