Remarks

Bishop Moore college is situated in mavelikara. My college is a beautiful one. There are 6 undergraduate courses in science. All the faculties are very talented. Also, the college has a very beautiful atmosphere that will inspire the students very much. It has an environmentally friendly atmosphere. My college was accredited by NAAC with A grade. So I opt for this college. It gives more knowledge about chemistry and the idea of future life. I am so happy, when I come to the college on the first day. The total atmosphere and the greenery of the college influenced me. All the teachers are friendly and like my parents. They are very caring. So I feel my college like my home. I got so many friends. They are very lovely and sharing all the problems and happiness with them. So I got a wide friendship from my college life that ever exists.

I studied BSc chemistry, and now I am studying MSc in that college. All the faculties are very talented. They teach well. Laboratory facilities are also good. 1 is to 3 ratios.

The annual fest conducted by the college is keela 2019. National seminars are also conducted. The food festival, arts fest, drama fest, etc are conducted in my college. There are about 1 lakh books present in the library. Smart classrooms are there. The Digital board is very useful for studying. Moodle platforms are used for online classes

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a chemistry lover that is why I am choosing this course to become a chemist. There are 8 faculties in the department and 120 students in B.Sc and M.Sc section in chemistry. 5 of the 8 have Ph.D. and 2 have post-doctorate. The remaining 3 are doing their Ph.D. The teaching at the M.Sc level was really different and interesting. They gave the training to mold us as the master of chemistry by self preparations and practice. We are the teachers of our class. We refer to textbooks at libraries (3 libraries. Main, department, research lab). The most difficult portions were taken by teachers in a high-tech way. The teachers arrange international and national seminars. Exams were conducted by universities. That was really easy for us because our department faculties also conduct unit tests and 2 level model exams before semester exams. And provide a minimum of 2 weeks of study leave before exams.

Those who completed higher secondary with not less than 50% can apply to BA English Language and Literature. They can apply on the official site of Kerala University when the application process of UG students start. Generally, it will be in the month of June or July. Students can apply online after paying the University Registration fees. Peaceful and beautiful college life.

The college admission procedures are done through the centralized allotment process of Kerala university. We can get into the college according to our marks. The college campus is so beautiful with greenery all around, its such refreshing to our eyes. The gardens, plants and trees are well maintained. The central chapel will catch our eyes. The college faculties will be always there to help you and guide you with all necessary guidelines for our future. The programs, arts festivals etc are extremely awesome here, celebrations happens at its peak.Many clubs are there for your support, to lead you and guide. We'll get to know about many opportunities around us. It also has WWS (walk with a scholar)program, ASAP and DCA courses. It really helps.
