Civil Engineering is the oldest engineering discipline. It is the design and maintenance of public works such as roads, bridges, water and energy systems as well as public facilities like ports, railways and airports.

The Institute produce technically sound, competent and value based graduates to face the challenges of the world and contribute towards the development of the society and growth of our Nation. So,to meet this goal, placements and internships are provided to the students with good pakages.

All the courses for which education is provided here, costs Rs.55,000/- per year and it goes to Rs. 220,000/- at the end of four years. The fee structure is feasible as compared to the privileges and facilities that the students get here.

Our college award and encourage students with good academic records. PIE Tech provides unlimited scholarships for Diploma & +2 students based on their academic performance. Also to encourage and motivate the current students, PIE Tech offers scholarship based on their performance in the semester exams. It also provides few Sports quota scholarships too.

CEA organizes activities like lectures by distinguished practitioners of the profession, video shows, competitions and socially relevant projects for the students throughout the year. There are at present, seven laboratories of our department for various use.

The norms of the admission applicable for getting admission through Single Window System after passing +2, is followed. Though students can approach for admission through management quota. The TNEA Counselling Code is 2354. An average of 45% is required with all the compulsory science subjects.

In our Institute, we have Faculty members, who are good, inspired and motivated teachers, who understand their importance in shaping the future of students. While they seek new innovative approaches of instruction and inculcate involvement, participation and team work among students to create an environment conducive for learning.
