PA College of Engineering and Technology (PACET) is an autonomous institution established in 2008 as part of a group of educational institutions managed by the Arul Jyothi Charitable Educational Trust. PACET is approved by the AICTE. It has been accredited by the NBA for CSE, ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Departments. Also, the institute was accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade.

PACET Admission 2026
PACET admissions are based on merit, with candidate selection based on their performance in the last qualifying examination. PACET provides B.E./B.Tech (UG), M.E. (PG), and Ph.D. programs in different disciplines of Engineering and Computer Science. The B.E./B.Tech course is provided in 5 specializations, with 120 seats in each, except Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with 60 seats each.
At the postgraduate level, M.E. Courses are available in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, and Power Electronics and Drives with seat strengths of 24, 24, and 18, respectively.
The PACET application is done both online and offline. The candidates need to have obtained 50% or more in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics in their 10+2. The admissions into the B.E./B. Tech courses are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). For M.E. courses, the candidates should have at least 55% in B.E. or a related field. Ph.D. aspirants are expected to have at least 60% in their M.E. or equivalent postgraduate program for admissions. PACET admissions in 2025, the TNEA 2025 application window is tentatively scheduled for May-June.

PACET is situated on State Highway (SH-19), about 2 km from Pollachi, a town at the foot of the Anaimalai and Valparai hills. The campus is in a peaceful setting amidst coconut groves. Pollachi is 40 km south of Coimbatore, with easy access to the college.
