Remarks

I like my college. The only bad thing is the construction going on. It disturbs our classes. Also the canteen is a tad bit overpriced.

Entrance Preview

I scored 96.25% as best of four in class 12. It had been my mission since class 8 to do b.com honours and then MBA. Getting B.com honours in JMC in the first list was a joyful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course in my first semester was very vast. I had subjects like business law,microeconomics,financial accounting and environmental studies.

Internships Opportunities

I am doing an internship with a singapore based company called Metis. The stipend is rupees 5000.

Placement Experience

Since it's just my first semester I haven't been placed.

College Events

My college has an event nearly every wednesday. The various departmental fests plus celebrations like onam,diwalli mela etc along with start up fests and all were fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very affordable. It is 12000 rupees for a year.

No. I have no idea about any loans is scolarship facilities.

Campus Life

My college is a girls only college. However we are very tolerant towards various social issues and have openly discussed them. Our extra curriculars are amazing. People from all colleges of delhi university come to participate.

Hostel Facilities

Our college does not have a hostel. I live with my grandparents.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

The college seniors are very nice and helpful.

Faculty

The faculty was like that of a school. Some excellent teachers who you take a shine to and other also excellent teachers who you're sceptical of. The faculty cared about our attendance and marks.

My opinion

Placement Experience:

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

JMC life my way

i actually did not apply to any other college , the reason being that I am pursuing ca and needed a govt college to balance my attendance along with it , govt colleges do not put a lot of burden as to attendance. so I applied to du and then created my preference list and got JMC according to it and tbh I do not at all regret coming to JMC. the admission experience was really nice , I was happy to get into DU and that too such a nice college , I think that JMC gets less recognition than it should get. admission process is through giving cuet exam, filling in the preference list and the according to the cutoff we get admission...Read More

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745.
