Remarks

There was a bond of 5 years which was taken from us without proper information and their was no leniency in bond to continue our further studies and we were put in a difficult position that if we have to come out of bond we had to pay 7.5 lakhs or work for 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Couse curriculum is lengthy and not practical, theoretical knowledge is given more importance rather than practice skills of the students and they suffer after passing out. About exam structure. Yearly exams were held both written and practical.

Placement Experience

3

Internship is a part of the academic in my course and it 6 out 10 compared to internship in other govt medical college. There was no mlc cases seen in our hospital so there was less exposure to emergency cases which became a backdrop for me everywhere I work.

College Events

2.5

There will be a intra college fest held yearly of sports, cultural and literature. And a graduation ceremony for the pass outs and some cme will be held by different departments and all national festival will be celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My yearly fees was 24000 for college With 5000 security deposit each for hostel and college during my period of college but now it is 1lakh per year with extra security deposit and hostel fees and mess fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many of my friends used to take scholarship thourough some websites and some government initiated scholarship, loan was taken by students from banks and their were no such facility within our college.

Campus Life

2.5

There were fests going on yearly that was intra college and there were no inter college fests conducted by our college due to no cooperation from our dean and college administration but we enjoyed our intra college fests.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel was leaking from everywhere. No maintenance was there and hostel was in very bad condition, dogs used to roam around in our hostel and no one ask if any outsider come to our hostel and cleaning is not done.

Alumni/Alumna

I did not have any seniors because I was a student of 1st batch of my college and we did not have any experience with seniors. And there were no one to ask whatever mistake we did or to ask any advice and empathize myself for not having any seniors.

Admission

I got admission thourough Karnataka common entrance test. I had an ambition of becoming a doctor so I chose this course. But after I entered this course I came to know that only if you are very hardworking.

Faculty

2.5

Our faculty is not inspiring and they work just for their salary rather than to educate the students and their are some exceptions but most of them are not good and satisfactory and I was not one of the top students who listen keenly to every class.

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. The university exams are held in end of the year and we don't have semesters the course is perfect as in wise it's just would ve been better if we would get more time after the syllabus is over to our final exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year we have a set of three internal assessments which assess our knowledge about the specific topics being taught and how caught up are we with the subject. The third internal mimics the final university exam pattern. This form of assessment is quite efficient and beneficial because it helps us to study on a regular basis because we need to pass two out of the three internals to gain eligibility for our final university examination. Apart from the internals we also have formative assessments after every unit of a chapter which is very beneficiary because it helps to keep topics memorised for longer durations. The difficulty of the internal examination ranges from easy to moderate, there are very rare cases of the exam to be extremely difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.
