About college

The faculties are veru experienced and well educated. In most of the colleges they don't provide water facilities but here we get clean drinking water. We have canteen in college which is quiet affordable.

This course gives us really good knowledge about most of the things required to work in the Corporate. They conduct guest lectures and take us for industrial visits which gives us technical knowledge.

Placements are wonderful of Presidency College. Branded companies like TCS and Infosys comes for the recruitment process. Companies among Big 4 visit for campus selection (EY, KPMG, Delloite). I got placed in E&Y with a package of fixed Rs 3,33,333.

There are various events conducted in the college. We have different clubs in college for different departments and interested students can take part in it by clearing the selection process for being the member of the club and different activities are conducted by each club.

According to the services given by the college, the fee structure is feasible. When I started my B.com course, it costed Rs. 65,000 (1st year) excluding 10,000 concession for the merit list. For 2nd and 3rd year it was 50,000 each year. 10,000 concession was given each year.

I have not taken any loan for pursuing this course but the college gives an opportunity for scholarships which can be availed by the students having income certificate. If any student is not able to pay the fees in one shot, the college give some time so that the fees can be paid.

Though our college don't have any playground but our college hire ground for students to play. Any student interested in any of the sport can take part and go for the further levels. Gender ration is 1:1 and there is no baisness or discrimination on the basis of race, caste, gender or religion.

Seniors are very helpful and will be present whenever any junior need help. On the fests and other events the seniors are invited and they come with the same enthusiasm and helpful nature. They never hesitate or try to ignore for helping juniors.

I got admission in Presidency College by merit list. I opted for B.com course as i wanted to pursue my career in Corporate world and the placements of this college are quite good. Admission prpcess was smooth as the receptionist and the faculties are very good in nature, their behaviour with students is very good.

Faculties are well specialised and knowledgeable. They not only teaches us bookish knowledge but make us understand the topic better by giving live examples and current affairs. They make the class very interesting and make sure that the concepts are clear to each and every student.
