Entrance Preview

I took entrance of IIT and JEE in sri chaitanya college vijayawada the entrance was based on the marks obtained in EAMCET examination. There is no interview process direct joining to the college is no interview process direct joining to the college entrance was based on the marks obtained.

Internships Opportunities

TCS was a major recruiter of our college recruiting of about 180 students and WIPRO, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE campus interviews are also done in our college. They offer attractive stipend to students there came many minor companies to recruit from our college. So we have gained interview experience very well.

Placement Experience

The placement officer of our college has many contacts with the companies so many opportunities of placements were provided to us by our college. About 200 students were placed in campus selections almost 80 percent of our students got placed in the campus interviews and got huge selections .

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
