Course Curriculum Overview

I can say this is the best college as a professional front as well as the cultural front. every festival is celebrated here most of all we are just like a family here. every faculty is so much well equipped with their knowledge.management is very good in every aspect.

Placement Experience

According to the placement, I can say it is one of the best colleges across India.IIHM gives national as well as international placements.

College Events

Almost every festival is being celebrated here in IIHM. Starting from the food festival that is a technical festival for a hotel management course. Then Holi, Durga puja, cultural fest, cake mixing ceremony, Christmas, new year celebration everything is celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very much feasible in this market where we are getting the best placement alongside. Fee structure is very feasible for every kind of person in our society. and the kind of lectures we are getting is almost professional and helpful to our career. as a foreign language is there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any luck or anything but some of my friends have loans.as per them the management team is very helpful and supportive.

Campus Life

Everything is so well equipped and technically sound on this campus. This is less a college but a big family we can say. we share everything with our guides that we facing any trouble or we are facing any confusion.they are always there beside us for everything.

Admission

A test followed by an interview.firat is your result of 10th and 12th is checked then according to that they shortlist their candidates and then a written test and followed by an interview is taken. I opted for the course because to have a good career aspect in the hotel industry.

Faculty

We have 7 numbers of subjects in our semester. everyday we have 5 numbers of classes among them we have 4 core subjects and two additional ones.we have French as well in our course as a foreign language. and we have expert teachers to teach this language.

From after 5th semester we students get eligible for campus placement offers to higher ranks posts for the students. The riot hotel,taj hotel other organisations for the students The highest package is 10 lpa and average lpa is 4. Percentage of students getting placement is 96.87. my plans after getting degree is to become cooks to serve people to where I am cooking foods and beverages

IHM Kolkata an experience

Placement Experience:

The campus selection starts from 05th sem onwards. Lots of companies visit some are:- Taj, Oberios, Leela, HHI, ITC, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, CCD, Starbucks, Fairmont etc. I dont remeber the highest package amount but it was around 30k. 95% students got placement and for those who had difficulty getting placed the faculties would help them find internship or job through their reference. I completed my degree back in 2013 and got placement through the college and started working.

Placement Experience:

1. Some students get offer letters during second year if they show excellence in guest service . 2. 5th to 6th semester 3. Big hote groups like IHCL , THE OBEROIS ,ITC , HYATT REGENCY,JW MARRIOT ,NOVOTEL,THE PARK all big players of the field come for placement talk and placement here Big retailers like RARE RABBIT,MAC DONALDS , KFC,DOMINOS and other big retails companies recruit for management trainee and operational trainee Almost 80 percent students get placed . Highest average package has went upto 6 lpa during training period by some retail companies . I plan on to join hotel as a chef and then opt for masters abroad if possible

The admission process here is pretty easy and normal to all other colleges too and interviews is for some different students and for low percentage students and You Had and admission process is like you have to call or visit colleges and thus college is good and will make you feel good

Both Production and Service Training have enough scopes to establish their innovative ideas too.
