Seeing the current scenario of our country in employment i feel proud to be in uem family as they are preparing students with required skillset they need to claim a job. Very active placement cell is there. Teacher and students relation is very close as i have experienced.

My b. tech cse degree is divided into 8 semesters unlike other streams. And in each semester we have to go through 2 midsem exam and one final semester exam. Labs classes are there in the curriculum and before the end of each semester have lab exams following a project submission of each lab.

This is the most asking part of Students as everyone wants a outcome of their 4 years hardwork. Then I'll say you won't be disappointed by the placement cell. Every tech recruitment company visit or give opportunities to the eligible candidates to get into their organization. For example tcs,wipro,cognizant,Adobe and many others. If one have have great enthusiasm for higher studies,this university is best suited for them as the curriculum is structured in such a way.

We have our cultural fest in somewhere between July and August and tech fest in February and other seminars like industry related, toastmasters,hackathon,photo exhibition,project exhibition. About the cultural fest,we don't hire artist to perform instead we the students preform in then which is a great fun,even teachers take participation too. Tech fest have a wide range of events mentioning some like several workshops on current technologies,project making,gaming and coding contest for the coders.

60000 per sem for my degree which is reasonable compared to the infrastructure we get and the faculties. There are atleast 5 computer labs and labs for other streams as well. There is a central library which have books for all dept. Including other fields like literature. Elevator is there as college having 3 blocks each containing 4 floors. Canteen is there with various vendors and a vodafone direct connection of 500mbps on each system.

UEMSAT exam is there for availing a scholarship. Though i am not totally aware of the amount given. Apart from that if one has more than 90% in his or her 12th then 15000 is given to them from college one time. TFW or tution fee waiver scheme is not applicable here as it is a private university. Bank recommendations are given as per my knowledge goes.

There are many extracurricular activities as i have mentioned earlier. Series of events happen that students can participate in. Students can also be a member of students chapter of their respective dept. which is a great thing i think. Both girls and boys ratio are more or less same. There is religious issues found and will be found as the directors are very serious about these matters. No political affiliation is there. Students of various economic status found here.

Hostel facility is there for boys as well as girls. I don't know much about hostel as i haven't stayed there. There flats available for rent near college so accommodation is not an issue. But heard from students who stayed in hostel that food is not good there. I won't recommend hostel if you need to accommodate near the college.

University started in 2015 so we have only one alumni network. But there were more than 1000 students. Who are placed in various companies or doing higher studies from reputed universities. So, one can have some serious guidance about their future plans. I came to know about gourav da who is pursuing m. tech from IIT Bombay. I take guidance about gate exam. Apart from that faculties are always there to help with great experience.

I got into the college through iemjee which is one of the process to take admission in the college. Though one must have 60% in 12th grade. One can take admission through JEE mains and wbjee rank card. For b. tech one must have a science background in school or a diploma in a valid stream.

Every faculties have done their masters in following subject they teach. Many of them are PhD holders from reputed colleges like Jadavpur,IITs and nits. Hod's of every dept. Are from highly reputed colleges like ours,who did masters from IITB.
