Remarks

It's a good college in culture but in education it is best. If they will take incharge in every points i know my college will be number 1. I had very baf memories with my college thats why i avoid it,but today i hit a chance to speak about my college. I want to tell everybody that i am feeling proud to be a student of the college. We are with you sarojini naidu. please be the best

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was a challenge for me to give my best. I tried to give my best till the last date of my college. There were two exams in a year. And in pass I had Food and nutrition, molecular biology also. with learning anthropology i got to know many of things,i can proudly say right now that i have done my graduation with bsc in Anthropology, which is regarding evolution, genetics, tribes and a lots kf things. People can try it,we had to do 2 excursions in a year

Placement Experience

0.5

As this is a govt College there are no internships are available, byt TCS come every year to give placement them who atleast got 50% in final exam. being a givt. College the fees should be low as many poor gurls are studying in the college

College Events

2.5

Less cultural activities were celebrated, mostly politicians came to guve there opinion and some of Students who did fake union just for taking money did butter them so that they get more. But doing this type of things there only came fashion events nothing more

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college charged much higher than other colleges. As my subject is costly, they can charge but they charged extra than others one. I paid 890 every month. My college tookmuch extra money for various occasions which never happened

Fees and Financial Aid

We had no scholarship and loan facility which is very bad. They need to provide the facility to the students. Manny bright Student came to study but they had no money to pay fees or extra. My college never provided them any facility

Campus Life

3.5

In bsc subjects we have each and every lab with each and every department, but lab teachers ae very lathergetic, they had no interest to do labs. Only befor the practical exam they forced us to come the college to do practicals

Alumni/Alumna

They are not even a sigle penny helpful, they just know about them, how they will become much stronger, they are very greedy, many of professors supported them with knowing everything. We expected a lot fromour teachers but they never ever listen to us

Admission

I had a dream to study about Geology, but I got only 78% in 12th from West Bengal Board. I am from Kolkata,so there are only 2 colleges that has the subject Geology,I applied for both two and I got rejected ? the time i broke down. Then my father told me to study Chemistry honours,I had no interest in Chemistry. As time was going on and all of my friends were busy in taking admission,so I went to Sarojini Naidu College VB which is nearby my home to see subjects, then I found the subject Anthropology,i filled a form for applying in chemistry. After coming home i researched about a huge in Anthropology,i told my father that i want to study anthropology,my father got angry, that there is no future. i had never heard anything about the subject,do chemistry honours. I fought with my father a lot regarding this. In the first merit list of chemistry honours my name got come. I was not happy, then one day my father went to that college and told them everything about me,the principal of my college was shocked and after seeingy result, she said yes,she has a good marks, you ca choose anthropology, but you have to promise me that you will give your best. That day i took an admission to this college

Faculty

3

Good, but need to improve much,as there has many politics between students and professors, they need to cut it out from a college. As this is an educational centre they need to focus on the college culture and education as much as students and teachers bonding can be much stronger if both wants
