Positive remarks can be- the college is very strict about discipline and attendance, which keeps the students in the right path. College provides property placement to all the students in the college.

Yes the course curriculum is quite good. Almost every subjects that is needed to be studied are there in the curriculum. The exam structure is normal like other board exams, the question papers are set by the university and then the answer scripts are checked by the teachers at a certain center.

IEM is famous for 100% placements. The placements are very good. Top companies like TCS,CTS,Wipro, Infosys,EY,PWC,ARW,GreyB,NRI Fintech, Fusion Charts,Bentley, Amazon,IBM and many more companies come to recruit students. Upto a maximum of 10lpa to a minimum of 3lpa job offers are given in on-campus recruitment. Also in off-campus drives, Adobe, HSBC hire students offering a package of 30-40lpa. Yes, College provides internships in many MNCs like TCS, also in startups like Alien Brains, Rebaca. They provide stipend around 15k monthly. Some companies also provide Pre-Placement offers also.

The events that are held in my college are- Cultural Fest- where different types of functions are held, like Dancing, Singing, etc. Technical Fest- where you can experience the real life technology in your own eyes like, Robotics,VR,etc.

The fee structure is expensive as it's a private college. The fee structure for every semester is around 50k, suming upto 4lakhs for the whole course. It's feasible to many and also expensive to many.

Yes College provides TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver) for those students whose family suffers from financial crisis. Yes college also provides loan facility for those who needs money to study in our college. So paying fees is not a headache for anyone

College provides various extracurricular activities like Cricket tournament between different branches or between years. Football tournament also occurs the same way cricket tournament happens. College conducts annual sports function, where different events happen like Relay,100m race and so on. College also conducts 5km ,10km marathon race.

I have not opted for Hostel. But heard that hostel infrastructure is quite good. Yes you can't find so delighted food like your home, but yes hostel provides healthy food. They maintain strict discipline in the hostel.

Yes the seniors are helpful. They guides the juniors in the right path. They helps to guide juniors what to do and what not to do. From my personal experience, I have a senior who is currently studying in IIT Guwahati, he helped me a lot when I was doing internship in IIT Guwahati. Besides, College has a very good alumni, and every year there is an alumni meet conducted by the college itself.

I gave WBJEE, in which I ranked 1400. Then I sat for WBJEE counselling and according to my rank I got IEM, Kolkata as the college in CSE branch. The process of counseling was that, the top colleges gets filled up first and accordingly other colleges gets filled up according to the student's choice.

The faculty is quite good. They are helpful. The college recruits good teachers so that they can guide the students properly. Any notice provided, are shared with us without any delay. Overall the faculty is quite good.
